Re: WristCheck - Stif's mobile watchbox app project - Now live on iOS and Android!

Early stage feedback from me: 2. I wish I could input that I wore watch X yesterday or at least edit the date of wear back one. I've not yet found how to do this. Click on the little calendar next to the 'Last Worn' date. This opens the date log. Click the lock at the top of the screen to 'unlock t...

Re: New 63 running bit fast

I don't have a compass but the Lepsi app is showing magnetism. I will explore the option suggested. Welcome to this forum and please keep us updated on progress with your watch. I'm curious to know whether your 15 sec reading was a one-off, whether it was in one, several or all positions ...

Re: WristCheck - Stif's mobile watchbox app project - Now live on iOS and Android!

Early stage feedback from me: 1. I'd definitely like a dropdown list of watch makers/manufacturers. 2. I wish I could input that I wore watch X yesterday or at least edit the date of wear back one. I've not yet found how to do this. 3. I'd applaud the facility to record >1 photo per watch: I'd like ...

Re: Problem with my C63 - is this covered by 60/60?

1. What you're suffering is a well-understood but little mentioned phenomenon. Your choices are threefold: a. Man up! It's not all about you, it's about the watch. Ask yourself how the watch feels right now. b. Give it time: just as you are dealing with a finely tuned engine capable of great t...

Re: FYI: CWA LE C60 Trident Pro 300 Solaris

Looks very good, but I already have this beastie… an LE of one. So I can confidently predict that it should be a lovely looking watch in real life too. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220912/a6a54ed9a38b2474191224f84c5e9a26.jpg Well that dial/case/bezel combination isn't widely known  ...

Re: Is the Sellita SW200 a good movement?

As I said from my experience two sw200-1 watches both broken from day 1. I think I must have been unlucky . Considering I've bought over a dozen others without fail. My preference are the myota based microbrand watches rather than the Swiss ones like cw I think you pay a lot for those two words If ...

Re: C60 Elite 1000 Accuracy

The movement would have been measured by COSC when it was much newer than it is now and I'd assume that watches slip out of adjustment with use and wear rather than "getting better". I'm with the advice that you give it a full wind, wear it like you'd normally wear a watch (all day every d...

Re: Incoming, just pulled the trigger, new boots for this bad boy…

"What's your lowest price bud?" Happily this particular facet of facebake market place has not found its way to this forum. So no it is not a favourite. :problem:

Any reference to any watch as "my baby" also pleases me not at all.

Re: CWL of the day

And one Super Compressor became two yesterday. My black sand has been leather-clad since it arrived when new.

Previous owner Iain had this blue version on a bright blue wave strap but I fancy it'll be on the bracelet for a while.

Re: CWL of the day

Wearing on the bracelet today after sizing it last night. I’m not sure about this to be honest. The lack of any colour makes it look a bit washed out, and I think the end links are a little too long and protrude beyond the lugs. This might have to be a colourful strap watch and the bracelet can go ...
