Re: a new rabbit hole to explore .....
Yes, there is. I've got it lined up but I can't get it pressed back on. I've ordered a wee press tool to help me out  The old school advice was to put the watch face down on a book and use another book to lean on the case back but.... 1. You've got a domed crystal and I'd rather support th...

Re: Customer service
For anyone in the UK To be clear, as a UK company CW have to (and no doubt will) comply with these regulations. It doesn't matter where in the world you are. In some ways, CW do exceed the legal requirements: e.g 60 day returns, accepting returns on engraved case back. I had assumed you couldn't re...

Re: Pre-orders C63 Sealander GMT 39mm
Sorry for resurrecting this thread but it's on the same theme so not worth starting a new one. The pictures of the Dragonfly and Hunter Green 39mm GMTs show quite different camel leather straps. SKU of the strap appears to be the same so I assume this is just a difference in the renders? Capture.PN...

Blame the blue highlights on the car windscreen, not the grey gloomy sky!

Re: C1000 (or general Valjoux 7750) clicking
My C1000CE started rattling today when the balance was moving. I took the case back off, and as I suspected - the screw holding the balance had come loose, and tightening it effected a fix. Phew! I do appear however to have lost one of the tiny case-back screws as there wasn't one in the 'ole when ...

Re: C1000 (or general Valjoux 7750) clicking
Dirt, aka wrist cheese, you and the watch can do without. My guess is that the dirt has built up over time rather than being applied for your benefit. If it's in the case back thread it needs to come out carefully and not go in. There should be a small rubber sealing ring in there to keep water out...

Re: a new rabbit hole to explore .....
What a niche rabbithole you've found there  I look forward to seeing how this develops   First thing is to figure out how to get the caseback off. The movement is likely too tiny for my eyes to cope with, but at £13.50 it would be great to see if I could take the movement apart...

Re: RZE FORTITUDE GMT-S new model
That's lovely: are you completely pleased? Yes, thank you, I like it very much. The aesthetics are just as I expected. :D However, in my opinion the feel or rather comfort of the bracelet is inferior to the CW Bader bracelet. But I had the same feeling when I tried on the latest Longines ...

I can think of two ladies whose honour I would defend who still wear spectacular spectacles in this style.
