Re: Lost crown, is repair possible
What Guy says^^^^^^^^. They don't sell spare parts. Are we looking at the stem which has internal threads to seat the crown or are we looking at the stem tube and the crown and stem have gone missing? Either way they'll fettle it but get used to the idea that your watch is going to be off your wrist...

Re: Christmas present
Dale....Westernesse... Sorry, but you can’t go directly from Dale to Westernesse on a Sunday in February without being in Nidd. That’s only permissible in the Eärendil’s Razor variant which, as you know, can only be played if there is no R in the month. My move…Khazad-Dûm! But there is never an R i...

Re: Christmas present
There are some wonderfully clever “Tube/Metro” maps around. I saw one of Middle Earth once! “Excuse me, do you have to change at Edoras for Minas Tirith?” Aha! Edoras..... Minas Tirith..... Dale....Westernesse... MORNINGTON CRESCENT! For the purposes of clarity: https://youtu.be/lziCs...

Re: Another Rare(ish) CW found. . . . . .
Cool! I love that these pieces are turning up other than in the hands of CW fans and watch nuts.
I've got one such currently in service at CW Towers and I look forward to receiving it back fully fettled.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Watching the 12 hour race at Bathurst today. Awesome, as usual. The drivers: Professional Speedmasters. The watch: Speedmaster Professional. Of course. IMG_0147.jpeg Looks awesome doesn't it? I'm on youtube with it so I'll catch up later. I really enjoy John Hindhaugh's commentary. Skyfall day here...

Re: Ordered CW#1 !!!!
So, just to be clear, your only watch right now is a smart watch?
Do I detect "buy to try" syndrome in your watch-owning past - I've had it really quite badly but am currently in a kind of remission due to steady doses of CW and Omega: am I right?

Re: `Discount vouchers, man-maths and what I've learnt about me!
Well that was an unexpected consequence! I've never sold a watch before. I get separation anxiety and I get attached to things, especially watches. I thought about it a few times. I even attempted a sales post with an unloved Laco a few years ago, but there was no interest and I always thought the ...

And half the active forum members trot over to the CW store "just to see if there's anything special lurking in a corner".
