A little known fact is that when you send an MB in for service you can choose a different colour bezel,
Do you mean the band around the case, rather than the bezel?

Re: Review Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with White Dial

I tried on the white dialed Seamaster earlier and whilst there is lots to admire about it, particularly the size ratio and 'chunkiness' of the bezel, ultimately, it left me a bit underwhelmed. But that's probably a me thing rather than anything to do with the watch. As mentioned above, Bremont have ...

Why did they have to spoil a perfectly good watch with... a cyclops... [emoji2955]
I agree. This has appeared on a few of their new releases recently and is an instant turn off for me.

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote #2

3 of the same design and a red or blue option. Can only agree with Sproughton that CW take a few cues from these, especially the green dial black bezel version of the first option here.

A great report and read - many thanks.

A version of the resonance is holy grail territory for me!

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote

Well I voted for options 2 and 30. In hindsight 30 was a mistake because of the position of the logo. However, my favourite variant of this was the original version from CW. However, if CW would kindly proceed to produce option 2, although I would be happy for the bronze to be dropped (it's either a...

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote

Following the guidance of only backing the horse you are prepared to put your money on, I only voted for the 2 I would - and thinking more about it, that's probably only the one! I really have no interest at all in hearing about what happens on the fb page. If I had, I would go and look at it. It po...

Re: Staring into the C60 Abyss

I think it's pretty awful to be honest - and old hat now. This type of watch first hit the streets a few years ago, from numerous brands - and this brings nothing new to the game whatsoever. CW are far better at trying to be innovative, rather than copying, even if, IMHO, they don't always get it ri...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

Well for what it's worth, the blue ss c60 is stunning, followed by the two darker green wards. For me, the rest just don't work. Choose one of those three and I could well end up shocking myself.

Re: Do I want an Omega?

By coincidence, I have been spending some time in the Omega boutiques in Bangkok, as my sister has been visiting from Oz (landing at 10.30ish at Maroochydore via Sydney, in the morning, if you'd like to pick them up Gary - lol) and she has set her heart on one of 2 or 3 ladies Omega's, but sadly fai...

Re: Anonimo watches

They were available with P&C but as with Damasko and others, fell away.

I like a lot of their models and would love to see one in the flesh. I personally don't agree with the comparison to Magrette.

Well, for what's it worth, from AVO's post, stick the dial from 2 into the watch at 3 and even I would consider buying it!

Re: Why Keep This Forum Going?

I certainly agree with the views about the forum becoming more interactive and helpful (provide a gallery hosting service for example), but the platform would need to change for that. Forums have peaks and troughs, but in general, I think most, whatever their subject matter, have settled down to low...
