Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August

I like the fact that CW are working with Armin Strom to make these "halo" pieces. I think that both parties can learn a lot from this collaboration and let's face it they aren't too far from each other in Biel/Bienne. I don't like this watch, I actually prefer the original. but I agree about the co...

Re: Britain's best watch company entrepeneurs

There are other smaller independent brands going around their business in their own way, such as Schofield. I would place Pinion in the same category.

Worth pointing out that CW is proudly Anglo-Swiss, so British entrepreneurs - yes (mainly), but not British per se.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Not really 'again', as the intention by CW to release a 'Military' related watch was made known at the Manchester GTG back in mid-April and has been discussed several times on here since. Poppycock - and there's a word you don't here often any more! Field watch fine, tons around, but going to the U...

Re: MOANA PACIFIC PROFESSIONAL TITANIUM

I like the black model a lot (I already own the Dual Time), but with only having a cheap Zulu as a strap option? That's poor. Would a Magrette metal strap match the titanium case?

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Since the thread that you linked being started a year ago, CW have taken on board the desire for a Field / Military watch (or may well have been thinking of it prior) and are due to release a ranges of watches this autumn, that have full approval of the British Armed Forces. Again! So once again wh...

To be honest, it's hard to make a judgement about the blue case without seeing more of it!

S4 for me, but with the #2 dial.

Sorry, but I don't like the GMT's at all, especially the two-tone bezel.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

For one and two, I don't think the black bezel works with the blue case (as amended for 2). I think it has to be blue on blue, but I still think for 2, that ss is a better case material, as demonstrated by Downers mock up, but preferably with the original dial and a blue bezel.

Re: Comparing Apples to Oranges: Tudor BB 58 vs. Oris Divers 65 Bronze Bezel

A very good write up, but I'm not really a fan of the BB range of watches, so the hype has passed me buy. I once got the call that the BBB was finally in stock over here, I went down to the AD to have a look and they were pretty shocked when I said I would pass without even trying it on. Not sure wh...

Re: Trident C60 where would it stand?

Consider also brand recognition and legacy and they are much closer to the likes of Rolex, IMO. I would put them above Tudor even. Omega are up there with Rolex and I doubt anyone would put Tudor above them. But then I have never got on with Rolex sports watches, bar one, and have three Omegas. And...

Much to my shock and horror, I am quite taken with No,2, The dial is very impressive. Even more so on a SS case in my opinion

Re: Trident C60 where would it stand?

This is a familiar question on here and not one I really see the point of. I guess I can understand some trying to create some sort of pecking order, but at the end of the day, it's purely subjective. By the time I bought my vintage C60 back in December 2015, I already owned a few divers, but compar...

Re: Abysmal Service from Christopher Ward

A few years ago I had a watch repaired by Watchfinder. I received virtually daily emails updating me on progress, location, estimated fix date and costs. That's how it should be done. I have had similar with Chopard and Bremont. With Chopards AD, I had to say thanks, but I won't be back in Thailand...

Re: Abysmal Service from Christopher Ward

Seven months and they still have my watch! and what's the detail of that? Who have you contacted by email or phone, where in CW is your watch, why the extended repair period, has it been sent off to Switzerland etc etc.????? I think you meant to write, 'who has contacted you by phone or email about...

Re: Seiko's Sunny Sensation!!

Well I live in Thailand and could have been interested - but not at that price! Does anyone know what is in this watch that justifies the price? As an aside, Seiko are great here and the better quality LE's get snapped up very quickly. As for red dials, well I'm a fan and I doubt this model would re...
