Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
All showing as preorder for the end of April.
Looks like brisk sales already, or were no watches in stock on launch day?

Re: Pics from the walkers
One of my regular walking routes, when at home, is around our local pond. Earlier this week I noticed that, when out of the water, the mallard ducks were primarily sat in groups of three. Two drakes and a hen. Before venturing out this morning I looked out of an upstairs window and saw a duck (we li...

Re: Chicago Watch Show opportunity
Well honestly my wife is oddly supportive of my watch obsession... er... habit... er... hobby. I'll slip it into conversation and see what she thinks. Alex just picture the scene… You are helping on the stand at the show… Wearing your C63 FLE… Someone notices it and comments… “What a great design, ...

Re: Christopher Ward Survey
^^^ do you mean we're being subtly marketed by CW as we're filling in a questionnaire on our opinions on CW?? I'm not sure why this should surprise anyone. It's no big deal to me that CW have an agenda? :-k *Editing this because as soon as you use the word'agenda' it seems to take on a kind of unde...

Re: Christopher Ward Survey
Interesting to see how the questions have developed over the years, as CW has attracted a wider group of customers with, I imagine, an increased number who spend multiples of CW price point watches on watches in their collection. The Bel Canto effect. :) Even so the other brands section does seem a ...

The end links lock the bezel. Lift the link, move the bezel, lower the link back to lock.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 9:24 am It looks an interesting lug and end link arrangement. How does it work?
Essential for the high risk activity of most non diving, dive watch owners.

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
stefs No info whatsoever about a CW one Paul. The reference to 12.3mm-12.5mm was just my nodding, humorous (to me), reference to an iconic automatic chronograph that is not thick. It is apparently 12.34mm, according to those who have measured one. It also has the subdials at slightly above the 3-9 ...

Re: Bracelet conundrum; Tudor Black Bay Heritage P-01
I think that the Visitor bracelet works well Guy. Of those you linked to it would be the brushed Langstone. They both flow nicely from the extra P-01 link.
Most of the others would, to me, look like just attaching something as an afterthought.

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
Even if the model in the OP is a quartz, it would be great if CW follow it up with a nice 39mm, automatic chronograph with a thickness of about 12.3mm-12.5mm and a decent power reserve. Providing the sub dials are at 3, 6, 9 (or at most very slightly above the 3-9 axis), with a useful 12 hour counte...

Re: New CW Sealander Chronograph
I doubt that CW will end up releasing a quartz chronograph, without also having a mechanical version in the pipeline. Rather than grumbling, I imagine for many it will be more a wry smile, of thinking back to the marketing statements at the time CW announced no more quartz and comparing them to what...
