Re: A bit of blue

My friend has told me that the only one that he likes aesthetically is the Dartmouth. He is a person of great taste, as it’s also the one that I bought. :) There is also the point that I think the Dartmouth suits a wider range of straps, as an occasional alternative to the bracelet. Neil Should he ...

Re: Non CW of the Day

Very nice neil  A four watch all tudor collection of a bb58, a north flag, a ranger and a 1926 for a dress option would be quite satisfying  I am thinking Pelagos, NF, BB58 and BB58-blue would be a good alternative for the Tudor part of a collection. I reckon that, as is often the...

Re: My First Steinhart Has Arrived....

Never had a Steinhart, but they are a brand that I would happily wear. I think the 39mm models are spot on size wise.

The £6kish for an LV has now become an RRP of £7,450.

It looks good Paul. Congratulations.

Re: Free Money?

During lockdown we have purchased more from a farm shop and a local wine retailer, both of which we only visited occasionally pre Covid-19. Far better meat and wine than Supermarket or the chain wine retailers. So I think I would stick with placing a couple of orders with them, rather than big busin...

Brilliant!
I’d say it’s a good thing he’s grown up a bit now - it looks as if he was eyeing your watch like it was a teething ring!
Ah, I do have a pic of him using one of my watches as a teething ring. :)

It was the only use I have ever found for a G-Shock!

I like it for many reasons. The most important being I bought it one day after the birth of this little chap (he is a lot bigger now!). :)

On a day when many in England will be heading to a Pub for the first time in over three months, it is still possible to find a quiet beach and remain socially distant.

Re: C65 Dartmouth QC Question

^^^ Agreed Guy. As far as I can see the only point not in doubt is that the error on mine is far more obvious than on the OPs!

Kind of wished I hadn’t clicked on the thread. :)

Where small tolerances are involved it is the person with the watch in their hand who is the best judge.

But it is rather evident. There is a clear difference between the spacing of 59 to triangle and triangle to 1 on the bezel insert.
