Re: Bahnstormer_vRS passes 20,000 posts !

Guy I had thought you may have held off a bit and made the landmark number 20,000th post a “new arrival by super special delivery post”!

Give the postman my regards when you see him. :)

Congratulations.

Live langoustines used as a weapon?

I can see that being the next craze with teenage hoodies.
As stop and search ramps up, they will resort to carrying shell fish. It's my dinner officer. Here I also have the lemon butter sauce. Can't get nicked.
I have missed your posts! :D

Re: Don't Mention The War........

Sometimes discussion on sharpened tool implements is enough to make some folk Furi(ous). However they are just a KitchenAid. I think it may be a Global problem. Certainly wouldn’t have been a problem in Victorinox times. We should however Shun discussion of items in a context that is by common sense...

I saw a 2 month old one on a bracelet for £2,750, as recently as January 2019.

Neil

Where was that?

Re: Professional, Executive, Luxury, Exclusive...

^^^^ Indeed! I was going to ask ddav, which brands cost £2k, as the most expensive I have seen are about £500. Was wondering how the £500 implement would compare to a couple I have from the Japanese kn**e company that cost me about £100 each 20 years ago. I do appreciate that a well honed cheap impl...

Re: CW Customer Service - Time to give Up

You can remove the CW employees name if you wish from this thread. I have no objection to your request. The fact remains the employee has now left the services of CW by now. How can one demonstrate the frustration of over situation without providing proof of the correspondence that is been submitte...

Re: Professional, Executive, Luxury, Exclusive...

I think that’s an on the money summary as far as marketing is concerned. In the context of professional, in addition to Omega it’s a term also successfully used by Rolex for their professional range. Originally intended to indicate watches designed and used for particular activities. Unfortunately n...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

[But guess what sometimes choices have to be made when growing a business, that hasn’t been able to burn through cash to implement state of the art systems. Maybe, just maybe, having gone through an expensive rebranding, they are still at the stage where generating cash from sales is most important...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

The point that on this occasion MF has acknowledged there is a problem speaks volumes and fair play to him for fronting up and stating they will fix it. Neil As armchair commentators it's all too easy to demand action but a kneejerk is no use and lasting fixes are not implemented overnight. I hope ...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Just a fluke on my experiences, probably not. Probably some truth to poor quality control and customer service. We can play the numbers game with the forum only being a small percentage. I have taken statistics at a high level. If a sample is indicative of a pool, and the pool error rate increases ...
