This is the one I thought I had snagged. But alas, no..too slow as it turns out.
Well done, great looking watch!

Re: Brexit - additional duty to pay (UK to EU shipping)
Hi Ferg,
Hhhmm..this is the frustrating thing..nothing seems clear cut.
And I really don't want to be hit with £100+ charges. Urgh...Darn you Brexit

Re: Brexit - additional duty to pay (UK to EU shipping)
Thanks Neil.
I had (rather naively it would seem) assumed used goods were exempt from any charges.
How rubbish.

Re: Brexit - additional duty to pay (UK to EU shipping)
Saw a post on CWE FB page - about dealing with used items in the EU & UK.
Can anyone tell me definitively, if I were to purchase a used item (a watch in this case) from someone within the EU, would I have to pay some kind of import VAT having it sent to the UK ?

Re: Lockdown new year exercise
I get out for my runs Agreed, it has felt a lot more difficult this time, what with the dark and the very cold weather (for UK) since Christmas. So I'm not getting out as much as I want. For me, I find it so important to get out though - not just physically, but mentally. Gives me time to think and ...

Nice one!
I've often looked at these, as love the clean look of it. Much prefer this to the larger Day/Date version.

Re: Fantasy Football 2019/20
Well done chaps.
Cheers for organising, Steve.
And Guy, a well done to you too. A very respectable score on what was your first attempt. I've been doing it for more years than I can remember, but I think it was pretty much from when it started - and ya still beat me!

Re: Looking for gin recommendations
For a classic smooth Gin, try Tanqueray No.10..but make sure it's the No.10 and not the normal stuff which I think you've mentioned. Also, for something a little different, try King of Soho - it's probably my favourite gin. Although, I'm not sure how readily available it'd be in the US. I can also v...

Re: Watch "The Premier B01 Is The Best Breitling Yet | Watchfinder & Co." on YouTube
I agree 100%, Jon.
Not a fan of Breitling usually, but this is simply gorgeous. One of the best looking chronos out there in my very humble opinion.
However, I doubt if I'll ever be pondering about adding it to my collection. Bit out of my price range!
I can still admire though.

Re: Impulse Buys - Watches preferably, but not exclusively
^^^^ Ah that random tomato and car tale certainly beats my random food item and impulse purchase buy! :) The best I can offer is getting distracted on my way to Pret to buy a sandwich for lunch about 5 or 6 years ago. Called into Austin Kaye a few yards away and bought this on the bracelet. ...

Reminds me of the Acan.
If I'm honest, I'm not sure on them..although the GMT does look better with the splash of orange

Re: What did you do with your CD collection?
Funnily enough I went through the exact same thought process a week or so back, as my son wanted to sell some of his games. Downloaded the MusicMagpie app, sat there and scanned several hundred CD's and probably around 50% were 'worth' sub 50p. The remaining lot, they didn't even want! Not sure if t...
