Re: Almost there..

Kalniel - The C65 definitely wears smaller than it's 41mm size would lead you to believe. I have a C65 GMT and I have fairly skinny wrists, but it doesn't (in my mind) look out of place at all. In fact, if anything I would like it 1-2mm bigger. I wouldn't worry, and as MarkingTime has mentioned abov...

Re: Music Streaming Services

Another vote for Spotify Premium. We've been using it for years now, and hardly ever use anything else. We have the Family plan so it doesn't work out too expensive (per user) at all. It's probably the most widely used (across platforms) that I know of, and for good reason in my mind. We have Sonos ...

Re: Rugby World Cup

At least this year there is a sense of us deserving to be in the final.
2007 and I think even the most ardent England supporters would struggle to think that.

Re: Rugby World Cup

I used to love watching the Haka - but its seems to have taken on a whole life of it's own over the years, and it does begin to irk. As TheBeatles has correctly (in my opinion) stated - if they're allowed to do the Haka, then opponents should be allowed to confront them and accept the challenge. Of ...

Re: Dapper Dan does it again!!

I like these a lot  I was on the hunt for a panda a while ago, but managed to resist the urge. I have to agree, I think the blue is a definite winner. Are they not available to buy just yet ? As I can't seem to click add to cart (doesn't even let me click on the date/no date option) Probabl...

Goodwood Festival of Speed

Hello one and all. We're off to Goodwood on Saturday - breaking our FoS cherry. It seems a fair few of you are into motorsport, so wondering who else is going and also if anyone has any tips for a newbie ? One thing that seems to pop up a lot is traffic - We're aiming to get there for 7.30...

Re: New Top Gear Hosts

Just reviving this old thread. So, for those that care, what was the consensus of last night's show ? I for one, whilst not 100% sold, was ..optimistic shall we say for the next episode. Yes, the studio part was the usual over rehearsed cringe fest. But I thought all 3 had good 'chemistry' and weren...

Re: C65 Trident GMT - Pepsi

Being an owner of the current C65 GMT, I'm a fan of the model anyway. But I must say, I really do like the look of the Pepsi. And I'm also quite drawn to the Blue - something I'm not overly fussed with the other C65's. I actually really like the Pepsi on the camel (& the bracelet). I do think the or...

Re: Edinburgh GTG - Chat with Chris - Saturday 19th January 2019

I'm really liking the GMT.
Honestly think this has the potential to be my next purchase.
Will have to consolidate beforehand though. That and be 100% sold on the hands..as not quite there yet.

Re: It’s not exactly a watch, but...

Brewing your own beer seemed to the thing back in the day (my dad also did this)..but home made wine was also popular - I distinctly remember my parents and their friends taking demijohns of the home made stuff on our numerous camping trips every year. God knows what it would've tasted like, but I'd...

Re: Panda watches

I came across EMG watches the other night, and this caught my eye. Know very little about EMG, apart from seeing they were set up by 2 guys from dare I say another forum.. WatchUSeek in 2016.

My word, blast from the past!
My dad had one identical to this - can't remember who made it, but the style, colour & design were the same.

Re: Panda watches

Some interesting propositions, thanks chaps.
Must admit, I rather like the look of the Helgray - but it's not a brand I'm familiar with.
I'm still taken with the Orient though. Might have to do a bit more digging and keep an eye out for one.
Although the mineral glass worries me somewhat.
