Re: Fantasy Football 2019/20

Well done chaps.
Cheers for organising, Steve.

And Guy, a well done to you too. A very respectable score on what was your first attempt. I've been doing it for more years than I can remember, but I think it was pretty much from when it started - and ya still beat me!

Re: Looking for gin recommendations

For a classic smooth Gin, try Tanqueray No.10..but make sure it's the No.10 and not the normal stuff which I think you've mentioned. Also, for something a little different, try King of Soho - it's probably my favourite gin. Although, I'm not sure how readily available it'd be in the US. I can also v...

Re: Watch "The Premier B01 Is The Best Breitling Yet | Watchfinder & Co." on YouTube

I agree 100%, Jon.
Not a fan of Breitling usually, but this is simply gorgeous. One of the best looking chronos out there in my very humble opinion.
However, I doubt if I'll ever be pondering about adding it to my collection. Bit out of my price range!
I can still admire though.

Re: Impulse Buys - Watches preferably, but not exclusively

^^^^ Ah that random tomato and car tale certainly beats my random food item and impulse purchase buy! :) The best I can offer is getting distracted on my way to Pret to buy a sandwich for lunch about 5 or 6 years ago. Called into Austin Kaye a few yards away and bought this on the bracelet. ...

We went to a country show in the lake district last year and came home with a grill cabin👍
No regrets, we love it!

Reminds me of the Acan.
If I'm honest, I'm not sure on them..although the GMT does look better with the splash of orange

Re: What did you do with your CD collection?

Funnily enough I went through the exact same thought process a week or so back, as my son wanted to sell some of his games. Downloaded the MusicMagpie app, sat there and scanned several hundred CD's and probably around 50% were 'worth' sub 50p. The remaining lot, they didn't even want! Not sure if t...

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release

With circumstances as they are I know I shouldn’t even be looking at this but I have to say I really like this new release. Perfect size for once and the colour scheme and novelty element really appeal. The blue and orange hybrid probably looks the best to me but of course the sensible thing would ...

Re: Hamtun Watches

Problems with delivery and communication aside, are those who own an H2 Kraken happy with their purchase ?
Any mini reviews welcome.
I've read and watched a few online, but would like some trustworthy feedback on here

Re: Hamtun Watches

Gary - That's what I've been reading. So my mind is made up....I've just got to bag one of the launch day specials now! And seeing as there's only 50 of those, I don't fancy my chances.

Happy Birthday btw

Re: Hamtun Watches

I am tempted. I'm guessing most on here who have previously backed these opted for the Sellita movement ?
Just trying to decide if it's worth the £100 premium.
I like the GMT, but not sure I can justify that at present.

I could be tempted....if they perhaps change it to steel, and lose the silly subdials.
Oh, and reduce the price by around 24k

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

I would have to agree with MarkingTime in as such that the C65 has a relatively large crown, which would rub against the back of the hand, causing unwanted stress on it - had it been worn too loose. That would surely cause issues after time. However, I'm not saying the user wore it incorrectly. He c...
