Re: Rolex: OP39 v Explorer1

Rolex prices and availability as a result are crazy. Although I have made a bit of money on a couple it is a bit annoying. I am currently enjoying a Milgauss. I was looking at flipping quickly, but have found that I really like it. Could this be an option instead of a explorer? they seem to be good ...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

Dartmouth looks great, but if we are going for a FLE i want it to look some special that will not/could become a standard CW watch. i think the blue trident looks great with the yellow. that would get my vote, if there was no bronze offerings.

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

i personally would like the FLE to look a bit different to what is currently on offer. i would love a bit of bronze if possible or even the trident being a different colour than just SS.

Rolex sub 1680

I have been hunting a birth year watch for a while. In the early summer I bought an Omega speedmaster what i thought was a 1978, but wasn't, in fact it was a 1980, so i sold it on, losing around £200 in the process. I replaced that with a 2013 rolex non date sub in July, which i now have off loaded ...

i have been very keen on the honey, but the price put me off a bit, but i do love all the straps that it comes with. I look forward to seeing more photos of it,

Re: New Stainless and bronze Ombre's added to website

interesting how the C65 bronze is going to be limited to 500, but the stainless steel diver to only 300. are there any vouchers out currently?

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

At the price point it does suffer from strong competition but I guess it will be very exclusive and not bought by anyone looking at flipping. For reference on limited editions, Tudor you could wait for the harrods black bay, or the lhd Peabody which no longer limited does have an individual number o...

That’s a pretty cool nato parachute strap in the last picture. Piers showed me a pinion with one and it looked fab.

Pinion Axis II black update

So I have had my watch for a while and also put it up for sale a couple of times. However, I went over to see Piers today as it was running a bit too quickly. He soon sorted it out - it had been magnetised, so he put it on a device and changed it from running 80 seconds a day fast to around 5 second...
