Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward
Sorry to hear Chris is leaving. I hope it is merely through choice and not health or corporate grievance reasons. I have not spoken with Chris for quite a number of years now but when I had reason to he was always courteous, kind, helpful and in fact outright generous way above and beyond any of my ...

Re: Abysmal Service from Christopher Ward
Hi All, Before you buy another watch or send your watch in for a "service", think twice! I'm not going into details, but their so-called Service Department is a joke! I've posted this on here in the hope that somebody from CW will read it, unlike the emails I send to them, and actually do...

Re: I take it the problem IS just the logo then????
I dont want to keep banging on about this logo issue and creating new threads on the subject but I am creating this thread in the hope it will maybe be the beginning of the end the negativity in here at the moment because I for one am getting bored with it. I am sure the rest of you are as well.......

Re: I take it the problem IS just the logo then????
I have declined to post the last week or so because I felt I had posted all I felt and didn't feel the need with - nor wish to bore others by - repeating myself over and over. And therefore, I have stayed away rather than resist the temptation to read and post in reply. Like I say, the anger is muc...

Re: I take it the problem IS just the logo then????
Just curious..... How can you state the word "****" then edit the word "cr*p" ? If you're gonna give it both barrels, then give it both barrels ! Well you see **** is British slang so at least our overseas chums can google it to get the meaning if they are not sure. If I h...

Re: I take it the problem IS just the logo then????
No, it's not just the logo. Problems are/were The logo - font & left justification Its positioning Badly arranged website with; Missing items Missing sections Watches in the wrong section Trite & misleading watch descriptions Inane comments about 'no batteries required' Abuse / belittling o...

Re: Agreeing on a new logo:
(As titled in Watchuseeks press release... http://www.watchuseek.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Mike-France-Chris-Ward-Peter-Ellis.jpg its an incredibly odd picture. What did the other designs look like? Did they pay everything up front?... I guess they must have. It is such a strange image and eve...

Re: A question of balance
I am in the "it doesnt look balanced to the eye" camp. My personal opinion is I think it is the left alignment of the font and not so much the fact it is positioned at 9 o'clock although even that is not the best idea. I cannot say I am a lover of the font either for a classic type watch b...

Re: Why re-brand and re-marketing?
The general perception of long term Forum members is that there has, in recent years, been a significant uplift in prices and most analyses will confirm this. The Company's answer has been that quality has been improved in every reincarnation since the 'original logo' days and this may or may not b...

Re: Why re-brand and re-marketing?
I would argue that prices have not risen substantially, but rather that the average price is much higher than the early days. The original C5 Malvern sold at £199 in 2005. it had a major upgrade in 2012 and currently retails at £399 (11 years after introduction). The C3 MKI was introduced at £179 a...

Re: New Logo - is it the forums fault???
I used to do this with forums but I havent done this kind of thing in 10 years or more. Kip you will need access to the webspace that the forum is on to make changes. There within the forum folders there will be php templates that will need editing. You could simply replace the images in the folder ...

A Stupid question
This may be a totally and utterly stupid question but ??? Has Chris Ward still got influence with the company? Having been gone for a long time I have been tryng to catch up a little with recent news and it seems that Mike France appears to be more to the forefront now as the main spokesperson. All ...
