Two Recent Incomings

Hi all, It's been ages since I last posted on the forum although I do read it most days without logging in. Here's 2 very recent Incomings, the Snoopy Moonswatch arrived this morning ( I've swapped the strap already ) and I picked up the Pan on January 9th 1000001390.jpg 1000001396.jpg 1000001397.j...

Re: Pairing watches with tattoos

When I had my full sleeve done I purposely didn't have it inked all the way down so it wouldn't 'interfere' with any watch that I wore.

I also left the same size gap on my left arm full sleeve so I could wear my coloured bracelets.

Re: Fellow Aviators/ lovers of aviation

I worked at Rolls Royce (Aero Engines) for 44 years before retiring. Started my engineering apprenticeship at 16, I came out of my time as a machinist, mainly turning and milling. I did a few years in the experimental department then moved to the main works, turning and milling (on manual and CNC ma...

Re: Watermelon Arrived Today

I think these are really funky looking watches too. What commitment do Studio Underd0g give to the movement please? I've watched plenty of youtube content giving "sage warnings" concerning this movement in the Chinese Aur Force replica/homage and all too often it seems to paint a picture ...

Hi,
Yes I'm very pleased with it, it's slightly smaller than I normally wear but it fits my wrist really well.

My order number was 5502.

Re: Anyone Else Into Building And Painting Model Kits

Thank you all for the positive comments.

I've just started building a Warhammer Lemun Russ tank, then I've got a Tamiya 1/35 scale British Churchill VII tank to build.

Anyone Else Into Building And Painting Model Kits

After not picking up a model kit and a pot of paint for over 25 years my son persuaded me to have a go again, mainly because I took an interest in his recent 'obsession' with building and painting Warhammer figures. Here's what mine came out like, it's a Space Marines Primaris Invader ATV. It's the ...

Re: Stick or Twist #2 - Upgrade on TOYS

@malvern_man - advice sincerely appreciated and I remember seeing your resplendent Beemer in a previous post. I have though succumbed and got AutoGlym LifeShine on AK. I've had Lifeshine on all my cars for the last nearly 20 years. It also would be rude not to take it, as it was included in the dea...

Re: Car Troubles

From Google.... You must also have insurance if you leave it parked on the street, on your driveway or in your garage . The police can check on the spot if your vehicle is insured using the Motor Insurance Database. If it isn't they can seize it immediately, even if you then arrange insurance at the...

Re: Stick or Twist #2 - Upgrade on TOYS

Congratulations Guy, don't let the dealer con you into having their ceramic coating applied be it Diamondbrite or Supergard or whatever brand they use. It's a well know con in the car detailing world ( I'm a member of a few car detailing forums ) Half the time it's never even applied and if it is it...

Re: What Car do you drive??

I have often said to never buy a black car. They're difficult to make look really nice; and when I was kid, and cars got colours post WW2 then only policemen and funeral directors bought black cars. So a few months ago I bought this black I3. Yes, I've returned to polishing cars. It's bloody hard w...
