Re: Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary (Red Text)
Im a massive fan of the brand and have been for nearly 30 years but the way in which the brand has been behaving in the last few years is really putting me off. I adore my BLNR and green Sub and have no intention of selling them, but, if I was in your situation and had the cash, I'd go for it and lo...

Re: Non CW of the Day
^^ is that new to you? I hear it's difficult to source one at AD's currently I've had it very nearly two years now. They are virtually impossible to get hold of at the moment hence the crazy prices on the secondary market. Unbelievably i only waited two weeks from putting my name on the list to get...

How about this one? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180718/b5658b374e4b02aaa525d9e73f53db04.jpg Nobody? A couple of hints. It is a Unesco world heritage site. It is also an interesting geological site. Looks like Iceland to me, where the European and North American tectonic plates meet. Was ther...

Re: Tudor BBB or wait for Rolex Batman?
The Tudor is a lovely thing and will surely keep you going for the next five years, but don't take your eyes off the ultimate target. Rolex don't increase their prices every year, but there is virtually no warning when they do. Prices haven't gone up in the UK for around four years (but don't quote ...

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
^^^ It's fundamentally true. The cost of long-term ownership of a Rolex Submariner is relatively low. Exactly my thought process when buying my GMT master BLNR. Yes it's a huge amount of money, but if you can justify/afford the purchase price, then keep the watch long enough you'll get your money b...

Re: The Rolex thing
My advice is DO IT!! I sold a couple of watches to help fund my BLNR in August last year and haven't looked back. It's absolutely stunning and definitely gives you that special feeling when wearing it. The one downside - you may not stop at one! I'm now saving for a daytona!! http://i1279.photobucke...
