Re: I’d give up my watches for....

Either a competent owner of Everton Football Club or a competent person in charge of the England and Wales Cricket Board. Ideally both, but I'm not that much of a dreamer.

And yes, yes, family health and happiness etc. and so forth.

But mostly the football and cricket.

NFTs are the most baffling thing I think I've ever come across. Absolute nonsense.

Re: Halios Seaforth IV

Daft question, but on prior releases was it as 'simple' as seeing the email notification and being the quickest to react before they sold out?

Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed I can get a pastel blue after missing out on the previous two iterations.

Though the idea if a pink one is interesting...

Re: Sale notifications experiences and confusion

My first purchase in a CW sale was in 2013. Exactly the same thing happened then - went 'live' before it was official, and as far as I can tell the same thing has happened with almost all sales since.

Ultimately CW sell the watches so I doubt they're particularly worried about getting it right.

Was hoping for a green C63 GMT which didn't appear; blue, white and black were available though (looks like blue has now gone).

Re: Pre-launch Revival Model Exclusive

Obviously it was a bit of a bodge given it didn't go as planned, but ultimately the watches were released, people had (and still have) the chance to buy them. Don't really see the problem.

Re: Ttf23 SOTC December 2021

There is a Seaforth gen 4 coming out next year. Pastel blue, bahama yellow and pink (!) confirmed colours with one more as yet unannounced. Choice of titanium and steel and a. variety of bezels. Slated for a January pre-order - which based on Jason’s past record will be more like March. 😂 This is g...

Indeed, which gives the famous pub quiz question:

Name three players to have played for Scunthorpe and captained England?

Keegan, Clemence, and the one that elicits groans from the quizzers, Botham.
