Re: CW Revival potential

I'd love to see what an updated version would look like. I really liked the kingfishers but I think they look dated in their 'current' form. Definitely enough to work with to bring them back though.

I also use pocket casts. It's absolutely fine and does exactly what I need it for.

Completely unnecessary but that's not to say a splash of colour doesn't also work: Absolutely right, and it looks great on your watch. The orange chronograph seconds reminds me of another Omega, the Genève Chronostop. IMG_0419.jpeg I wish that that my photo, alas... completely agree with the Chrono...

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner

I'm such a sucker for Watchgecko strap sales. My working memory - well, it just doesn't work. This means that I often get Watchgecko deliveries and have no recollection of ordering anything. It's like Christmas all year round in my house  And I often get watchgecko deliveries of straps I didn'...

Re: The Twelve X (Ti) - Released

My issue with the price isn't whether the watch itself is worth it, it's that I wouldn't be comfortable spending that kind of money on a watch where I'd worry about QC, less than impressive post-sales customer service and recent and current issues in fulfilling pre-orders.

Re: The Twelve X (Ti) - Released

Ahhh the skeleton watch. Not bad but not for me. Two things that made me sit up and take notice was: 1. Microadjust on the butterfly clasp bracelet. Finally. 2. Use of the lume globolight. Does anyone have more info on this? From the Web describing its use in a Moser watch: ...Globolight—a ceramic-...

Re: New sports watch preview

I'm not a fan of skeleton watches so it was never going to interest me.

My initial reaction was a bit of a shrug of the shoulders - it looks fine and I'm sure it will have plenty of people who love it, but it's just very... grey.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

I'm all over the shop with what I want for my next watch at the minute, aka 40th birthday treat to myself, but a chance encounter with this has shifted my thoughts massively, it's gorgeous in the 'flesh'.

Re: New sports watch preview

I had a work meeting put in last minute so couldn't make the preview. The little bits of info here and there means I'm pretty sure I know what it is so unlikely to be of personal interest, but hopefully it's a resounding success.

Phil, you might be pleased to know I've just snapped a couple of Everton shirts in the sale, reduced to £15 each. Shame they don't over unbadged versions. I like the grey third strip, and I got the red second strip as well. :D
Don't call it red!!

Re: New Bremont logo?

Going scorched earth on the trip-tick doesn't sound like the greatest idea given how much emphasis was placed on it before.

It will be interesting looking back in a couple of years time with the benefit of hindsight.
