Re: Don't Mention The War........

Well, that’s the end of this thread. Descended into joke time. It's such a ludicrous concept that staying away from jokes would be extremely difficult. Don’t understand your post, doesn’t grammatically make sense! [The idea of banning chat about kitchen knives] is such a ludicrous concept, that [di...

Re: Don't Mention The War........

I must admit I let out a bit of a chuckle when I realised talk of kitchen knives is forbidden. Rules should be applied with a modicum of common sense.

After 6 years it's the first time I've tried this on a new strap - the original rubber had practically disintegrated. A Barton silicone after seeing one on the c65 thread and I'll definitely be buying more

Some potentially keenly priced Zenith's in Ernest Jones in the City. Not sure whether they're commonly discounted or not, so might not be helpful

Re: Father's Day

Got a wireless barbecue / meat probe which I tried out by cooking a big chunk of beef short rib for 10 hours - the real present was being left alone in the garden with the beer.

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

In summary: 1. Customer Service operations are currently sh*t and have been for some time 2. CW are aware and trying to address it, hopefully through investment in systems, training and more bums on seats. 3. Nice to see the forum slightly livelier than usual, regardless of the reasons  :th...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

I'd be more concerned that she thinks the way of finding out whether a customer has been responded to is to ask the customer, rather than check with colleagues / systems. Sums it up for me.

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Only by those who didn't follow the forum. It seemed to have become a mantra that CW = great CS. But the writing has been on the wall for some time, certainly before you joined. Some long established members here and multiple CW owners have walked away from both because of their experiences. But ne...
