Re: Rapidly aged new watch

I have a very similar A8, on a vintage leather. I got the ageing process underway by leaving it in a sandwich box with a vinegar soaked cloth overnight. After that I just wore it. It's darkened in certain areas nicely and looks quite naturally aged now. This is a great watch for the money and gets w...

New arrival

Hi all Decided to sell a few of my cheaper watches and see what I could get with the proceeds. I sols my C70MC a few weeks ago and the watch fund got a boost when I won an ipad (and consequently sold it) last week :) After falling in and out of love with the lower end Seamasters, I decided to go for...

C70MC arrived today...

Yeah it does that - unless there's a reflection the markers and single 12 numeral disappears.

Re: C70MC arrived today...

Cheers guys :) I was a bit concerned whether there would be any fine scratches on the bezel with these things having a reputation for picking up bezel damage easily, but honestly it's like brand new. I plan on this being my daily wearer, had it on all day and with my other watches I tend t...

Re: One in one out...!

Thanks Kip. I do like that, it's just too similar in terms of form factor to my existing mk1 that for me there'd be not enough reason to swap. I do like variety and I guess I've just got a bit used to the C8 and need a change.

Also the C70 seems like it will be a better everyday watch.

One in one out...!

Been a while since I posted over here, I sorta went off CW for a bit and I'm still only taken by certain models. Anyway, spied a C70 monte Carlo for sale over on WUS and snapped it up, should be here in the next week :). I've liked that watch ever since I first saw it in the CW magazine last year. A...
