Re: What’s the best thing about the watch you’re wearing right now?

In truth, I like pretty much everything about the C65 Trident Diver. The stylish and comfortable case, the lovely blue colour of the dial and bezel, the sheer legibility of the watch, the fact that it is hand wound, in fact it is pretty excellent all round. But if I had to choose one aspect it would...

Re: My First Steinhart Has Arrived....

Welcome back...a handsome piece to mark your return.

I think we’ve managed to maintain a reasonable semblance of normality here on the forum, unlike other areas of social media. Some of us have even bought some nice watches!

Re: Strap Management

I have a box of straps, but I must confess I don’t access it very often. The vast majority of my watches stay on the same straps for months or even years.

"Spirit of the Time" - FINAL VOTE

Well, the Admin Team has cogitated, deliberated and digested, and we have come up with a final six. There were some outstanding images and, whilst we took technical merit into consideration, we tried to focus on those that gave the watches a meaningful context. Not an easy task, and we had a few int...

It's a brand new introduction. If there is a sale I wouldn't expect to see it.

Re: C65 AM GT Limited Edition

Is it a cheap chrono? No it is'nt. Should it be cheaper? No IMHO it should't. Do I like it? Yes i do. Will I be buying it? No I do't think that I will. Very much my thoughts, Pete. I have my two C70s and I have my Speedy. And much as I like chronographs I will be retiring next week, only working on...

Re: C65 Dartmouth QC Question

I must admit I struggle to see anything awry, but if they have offered to look at it I would take them up as Patrick suggests. I have just realised something, after months of looking at the Dartmouth, which would bug the living daylights out of me... ...there ARE NO 1 minute and 59 minute markers! T...

Re: Protecting Stainless Bracelets

I must admit, I am in the “Watches Are For Wearing” camp. The odd ding on a bezel or desk diving mark on the clasp is all part of life’s rich tapestry, and in the case of the latter they can be brushed out anyway.

Re: Ball Watch Company - Under Rated Brand?

Since we're on the subject, Craig. I've never tried a Ball watch. I have the odd tool watch but in general I still prefer a wristwatch. Much more comfortable and easier to tell the time in a pubic public place.
