Re: The Mowbray Collection

Utterly overpriced and foolishly understated. What a trend... Thankfully there are plenty of true custom/boutique leathersmiths around here. Custom guitar straps, watch straps, belts, and wallets run me $60-100 and you actually get a handmade completely custom piece. Ipad case like that...$40-60. My...

Re: Any other issues with build quality on C60?

As I've stated, I've had multiple problems with the C60...beautiful watch, questionable build quality. I should've known when I asked the question "what movement is inside".... ...and the response was to take it to my own guy and have him open it... Here's my problems thus far, described i...

Re: C60 Bezel durability

My black C60 and FLE2012 both have legit scratches. They don't resist scratches at all, especially the FLE (scratches easy, and unfortunately we're unable to ever have replaced). If the C60 is your special occasion watch and you want it pristine, I'd keep it locked up in a padded zero gravity vault....

Re: Trident woes :(

Thank you all for the responses, I see that some of these issues have been shared by others and I find a strange comfort in knowing that I'm not alone in my Trident blues. Welshlad confirmed what I feared, both will most likely be going back upon word from Wera. Richard - It's not so much the watche...

Trident woes :(

I've thought long about posting this on the forum, so in all honesty I'm looking for opinions from other watch (especially CW) enthusiasts about how they might handle this (in terms of selling my Tridents for something else): I've owned four C60 Tridents and unfortunately all have had problems. The ...

Re: New today, C60 orange bezel

Great looking watch, really love the orange accents! I disagree however about the CW strap. The retired CW straps (old logo) are very cool looking but are only somewhat comfortable at best, and the new straps look like cheap Orient stock straps or a poor Seiko Z22 homage. Nothing beats an Isofrane I...

Re: Beautiful failure: The forgotten C60 strap

Thanks for all the replies everyone, I knew there were fans of this strap around here. Let's make this a "show off your discontinued C60 strap" thread! I'm assuming It probably won't be re-offered since it has the old logo design all over it and it's not what CW seems to be going for these...

Beautiful failure: The forgotten C60 strap

I'm quite pleased switching between the fully brushed CW bracelet (with dive extension removed) and Isofrane, but I decided to dig out the ol' original (to my knowledge?) C60 strap. I always had issues with the way the clasp sat on my wrist and no matter how I shaved the rubber it was rubbish - unti...

Re: new c60's

I suspect that the Scooter won't depreciate as much as you might think. I was certainly interested in a blue C60 and I do like this new one — but the darker shade of the Blue Scooter FLE is undoubtedly nicer. The main thing, however, is that the core market for the FLEs seems to be pretty small; ma...

Re: C60 Trident colors

I know I'm going to get flogged for saying so, but I also know others are thinking this as well... Repeat jump hour situation waiting to happen? A limited edition piece being re-offered? I guess it will depend what the definition of "blue" is in this case. The one good thing to com...

Re: c60 trident

IDid someone say aswel that more bezel colours were coming too ? Thanks Apparently there will be some new colour options. Not sure if it is just bezel or bezel and dial and whether it is the Autos or Autos and GMTs. :ka: We will hear soon. All these whispers are killing me! I personally hope it's a...

Go isofrane, you won't regret it.
