Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward

This is just... weird, as in, what a weird coincidence. Between Christmas and New Years Eve, I thought I'd pop Chris a mail informing him of the fact that I did eventually get a C3 Mk1, and some additional banter. The mail got bounced because Chris's company email address didn't work anymore. So, th...

Excellent taste, sir!
The dial changes drastically depending on the angle of view or the ambient lighting.
The bright blue 2007 Forum LE does the same thing. :)

One of my really underrated watches. Super comfy to wear, and I think it's pretty.

Re: Boxing the C3

Great looking watch. Happy (early) birthday. Just curious - where did you find it? Danbailey007 sourced it for me, in a Cash Converter store in Telford. I specifically wanted a Mark 1, in gold, with the off-white dial, if at all possible with a brown leather strap. This one was on a gold bracelet, ...

Re: Why Keep This Forum Going?

my gorgeous grandson who died two months ago. Fffffff... I've got three of those, and a granddaughter. All of them are older than your grandson was. I can maybe begin to try to imagine what ordeal that put you through, but that's it. However, slag them off and complain and you’re looking at pages a...

Re: repair info

With all due respect I believe you have only been active on here for a very short time after 8 years away and so have probably not seen the huge number of threads where customers have felt the need to vent their feelings on so many qc and cs issues. Every time a sentence starts with "...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

I'm not really a watch collector. I buy a watch to keep for good and wear till I drop, hopefully. I wouldn't want to have to buy a beer for each forum member who started out like that. That includes present company. I started off with the Omega I got from my grandad, but at some point I decided I d...

Re: repair info

When? Well that's the question, Paul - and the OP should raise it with someone senior at CW, e.g. Mike France. My point is that I'm not sure the credit card company are going to help much. Maybe the credit card company can offer protection for his original purchase? But come on ...3 months and not ...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

Okidoki, that's good news. Think about the following idea: Get yourself a "tool watch" for those beach outings -- a watch which you like for its character, and of which you're confident it'll take a beating, but which is priced in such a way that you won't feel too much hurt if you loose y...

Boxing the C3

So... I have put the C3 I recently received back into its box. "... huh?" Yeah. It's actually a birthday present, and my birthday is in exactly three months. I've taken the rather tacky gold bracelet off (that's now a surplus) 20190917_154535.jpg   and replaced it by a slightly more tastef...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

Lastly, since apparently the OP is now in negotiations with CW about reaching a mutually acceptable conclusion, I think we'd best wait until we hear how that worked out for him. I can see how someone at CW might say "oh, come on... let's give the guy a new watch head and put the matter to bed a...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!

@UNIONmagazine - curious as the how you got to speak with the Head of Product Development (presumably Adrian Buchmann). Surely your issue is with customer service and, if you are not able to get a satisfactory response from them or their manager, then perhaps you ought to speak with the ultimate he...

Hardly scientific.
If that's true, they don't have a leg to stand on. They should have tested it as it came in.

Re: CWL of the day

Last time I'll wear the C3 for awhile -- it'll get its crown pulled all the way out, to wait in its box until it's my birthday (which is 3 months and a day from now).
