Re: Question for bronze watch owners...

Thanks guys. Actually although I really like the fresh look that ombré in the review looks cracking when it develops the patina. Not too over the top at all.
I could swear mine looks very slightly different already after just 4 days. (Could just be half asleep eyes and not much light tho!)

Re: Seiko 5 Brian May Limited Edition | SRPE83K1

I think I prefer this to my green one. I wonder if there will be much of a premium to pay.

Question for bronze watch owners...

I know there are quite a few bronze watch owners, both cw and other, on here. I wondered in your experience how long have you found it takes before you start to see the bronze age and colour? This is without forcing the patina obviously.
Any pictures as things change would be nice.
thanks folks

Don’t think I will ever get the hang of learning the varying Seiko reference numbers.

Re: Unplanned (well a bit) bronze oris bcpd

#thegreyman Patrick as you know I am a big fan of the c65 ombre. A great looking watch and considerably cheaper and if a bronze was goinf to enter the fold it was really a straight fight between the two. (There is a couple of iwc bronzes but I had no intention of spending that money) In the end the ...

Re: Unplanned (well a bit) bronze oris bcpd

Righto scooter  Cheers Andy Cheers Gary. I was a big fan of that series of lumtec models as soon as they were released which was a fair while ago now and the only thing holding me back from getting one like yours was the 43mm case size. Great watch though. Cheers Guy. One thing though.... t...

I really love this saphhire bezel insert. I also prefer the bi-directional, 12 hour bezel over a traditional, unidirectional dive bezel.

Re: SOTC - Qubo | January 2020

An absolutely wonderful collection Robin. Some of these are damn close to perfection and the quality of the incomings v the outgoings is a totally different level.
If I could nick two its easy.... blue op36 and BB58. On their own the perfect 2 watch collection.
Great stuff

Very nice! I really like the pointer dates, particularly the burgundy dial version which I’ve nearly bought about three times in the New Years sales.

I look forward to seeing this on SC in due course.
That made me chuckle you cheeky young chap
