On Martu strap
Fantastic watch. The sandwich dial is gorgeous. If I had bigger wrists I would have bought one of these ages ago

Re: Stefs march 2020

Lance, while I think that the grand seiko was very tasty, I won’t be buying one! If we are all still standing at the end of this horrid period then a watch with an associated number between say 57 and 59 would be the most interesting.

Re: Stefs march 2020

A great collection Paul, containing a number of watches I have lusted after myself incl the Night & Day, Polar Exp and LLD. You have been known to flip the odd watch, which ones in the collection are the safest? Almost too scared to say Patrick but at this stage two standout candidates. Exp ii and ...

Stefs march 2020

Well it has been exactly a year to the day since my last SOTC. My watch collection has admittedly always been a little, ahem, shall we say fluid! This has been somewhat born out by the fact that the 4 frankly superb watches that featured a year ago have all gone  :( So here all together is th...

A grand seiko I actually like!

I usually find the grand seiko watches to be just a little understated and for all the wonderful finishing and build qualty they just have not been able to float me boat. However this one is a bit tasty. Titanium spring drive from the four seasons editions. This one is spring. Just look at the dial....

Re: Coronavirus

I think the way the government is dealing with this is admirable. Decisive and swift. It is a unique situation and this may prevent a lot of damage from the repulsive selfish chavs that are out and about taking no notice. I am still having to go into work although we are doing everything in our powe...

Re: 3 out and 1 in....but what? - LLD 42mm

...Of course there is also a 36mm version missF :)   Edit: I remember why the 36mm LLD disappeared from my radar : I couldn’t get past the 50m WR rating. Somehow I decided that a watch had to be at least 100m WR or it was of no use to me. :problem: ..... I’ve been wearing a vi...
