Re: Flu!

Ouch! The flu is nothing to sneeze at (weak pun intended). A lot of people say they’ve probably had the flu. No. When you’ve had the real deal you know it for sure.
Keep well hydrated.

Re: New arrival...(Avo will approve)

I’ve seen this in a shop, and it just oozes quality in real life. Pics, even very good ones like yours, don’t do it justice. Enjoy, as I’m sure you will.

Re: Vancouver meetup with Konketsu today

Thanks for the nice write-up and pics. By all accounts a great outing it seems. Btw, my wife is very keen on a tv show shot in Vancouver: Love it or list it, with Jillian and Todd.

Re: New arrival - I spy a Bremont

Thanks Bjorn. That strap is a Hirsch Heritage.. https://www.watchobsession.co.uk/collections/hirsch-heritage By the way, I think the case decoration is known as 'knurled' - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knurling Thanks. It looks a lot like the Panerai Assolutamente, which costs four times as much a...

Re: New arrival - I spy a Bremont

Congrats. Bremont is not my thing, but I especially like the lugs and the hobnail (?) decoration on the case side.

And this is a lovely strap. Where did you get it?

There is of course the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin 34 mm with the renowned cal. 849. A true ultra thin caliber at 1.85 mm! And an ultra thin case at 5.75 mm. Steel, gold, platinum versions. Different dials. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3003/2422064780_abdb3f92c1_b.jpg https://storage.google...
