CW as a One Brand Collection

Over at Watch Crunch, there's a post asking if you had to stick with one brand for the rest of your life, which would you pick? The predictable selections made their appearances: Rolex, Omega, JLC, Longines, etc. One person did say Christopher Ward, and I offered this as a reply: Part of me wanted t...

Thanks! It's one of those that had a real high wow factor for me when I first opened it. Funny h...

It’s a frigid morning outside but it’s warm inside with my Kindle and my Doxa.

Re: A Small Piece of CW Adjacent News

It's potentially very scary for my wallet, Guy! They seem to be leaning into selling to enthusiasts and not just casual customers. I feel like you don't carry Doxa and seek out to become an area exclusive dealer for a brand like Fears unless you recognize that enthusiasts are a big part of your bott...

A Small Piece of CW Adjacent News

Learned earlier this week that my favorite watch shop, Little Treasury Jewelers in Gambrills, Maryland, is set to become an exclusive area AD for Fears Watches. I'm excited as I have had my eye on the Brunswick Jump Hour for a while. It uses the CW JJ01 module. Not quite as awesome as a CW AD any cl...

Congrats on the new watch, Neil, and thanks much for the snaps from inside the showroom. Very nice indeed.

A Wonderful Customer Service Experience

Some time in 2021, my C20 Lido FLE (sold to me by scooter ) had a mishap and the bracelet popped off. I did not realize at the time that a small metal sleeve was needed to get the bracelet back on, and so when I took it to my local watch shop, I was told that they could not fix it...

Re: Stella watches?

I saw some Stella Watches in the metal at the same DC Watch Show that CW attended. I was struck by the quality of them. Really nice detailing on the dials and cases. But the brand name makes me think of a certain Seinfeld episode...

Re: Watches you love but that aren't right for you

So, at some point today, I realized that the watch that fits this category the best for me right now is actually the Bel Canto. I love this watch. I love what it represents for my favorite watch brand and for its hopefully continued success, and I respect it massively as an accomplishment for the pe...

Re: Watches you love but that aren't right for you

Studio Underd0g. I’ve ordered both an 01 and 02 series and cancelled both times. I’m not sure what it is but I got that initial excitement and then reflected that they probably wouldn’t be for me. No reason, just a feeing with no justification. I’ve not even seen, held or tried one on. I'm with you...

Re: Bremont Tourbillon

Yikes! I keep hoping that Bremont will find its footing with this rebrand or whatever it is, but man, there just aren't many signs of it.
