Re: Logo wars - don't shoot the messenger

Classy. Attempting to provoke behaviour so you can continue your wobbly-headed tut-tutting. Nice watch by the way.

Re: Fake Hamiltons are out there..Beware!!..

Annoying for sure. The silver lining might be to keep them in a box marked ‘break in case of mental health emergency’ and save them for one of those days when reducing an inanimate object to individual molecules through the application of blunt force is in order.

Re: 2015 Forum Limited Edition Slimline - Should I Sell

Why are you clearing the decks and have you asked yourself why it feels good? I was strapped for cash some years ago and after a hard look at my collection, I sold several, including one CWFLE that I was involved in, and a key part of the decision was reminding myself they are just possessions.

I’d never heard of them so thank you for drawing my attention to the brand. I like the look of all the different colour ways.

Re: Do you stress about being late?

I don’t like being late but definitely don’t stress about it if I am late. Important appointments find me arriving early but a little stoicism goes a long way when life throws in a curveball.

Re: TYPHOON C1000 Ceramic #0163 in facebook marketplace

The husband no longer wears it because he has been turfed out of his house and is sofa-surfing with only a toothbrush to his name, his suits are now minus one sleeve, the bunnies have been boiled and his Porsche Boxster looks like it has seen action in Beirut. I would buy that watch only after I had...

Re: Houston, we’ve had a…

Sometime in the early 90s I was driving back from IKEA in my then bosses beaten up Golf GTI when the lights on the dashboard went wild, the engine gave a loud cough and cut out and the steering locked. All of this whilst proceeding at precisely the legal motorway speed limit give or take twenty or s...

Re: Terminology: “colorway”

My first encounter with the term was during a discussion about the available fabrics for the seats on one of my theatre projects. There was a wide variety of different fabrics, in a range of colours, with different colour ways in the warp and weft. Some might say it’s laborious having and using diff...
