Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?

Usually I'm not keen on orange dial watches. But I saw the Mad Watch Collector's video on the orange Loco and thought the shade used was really nice.

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

I'm not surprised the 750 first batch didn't sell out completely in 1 day. With the global economy what it is, tariffs, etc, even people who like it may need to keep their money for essential purchases. Or they might need to save up. I doubt you can replicate the initial BC hype, because people were...

@Timepiece.Pete I think "Stormtrooper vibe" is exactly right.

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

I found that to be most strange at the venue. A watch launch for some very vivid dials, with huge efforts to create multiple textures and levels and finishes within the dial and caseback, yet not setting up the tables with the multi-point illumination to show that off and relying instead on the sub...

Re: Freewheelin’

It was an interesting look into all the different aspects of developing a new movement and watch, and marketing/releasing it.

The forum cameos were fun.

Re: Does/did CW make a jump hour watch

I believe one of the older Mr Jones Watches models also used the CW jump hour module. Most of the MJW jump hour watches use Seagull movements, I think.

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

It's a nice and cool watch, and the movement is awesome, but I think the Bel Canto is still prettier. The dial side on the Loco - I don't mind the name by the way - is nice, but.... I don't know.... a bit too symmetrical and minimalist for me? All the straight lines, gleaming metal bridges, bare(ish...

Re: The Forum’s most mentioned other brands?

.... still think the sector dial watch was the best CW they made and only wish they brought it out in 38 or 40mm........ OK, I don't think it's the best, but I really wanted one (the light-coloured dial version) back in the day, except that at 44mm, they would be dinner plates on my wrist. I ...

Re: Mr. Jones collaboration

I’m not any kind of expert concerning the Mr. Jones line of watches aside from what I can see on their website. It certainly does appear that this collaboration with CW will be a huge improvement with the light catcher case . At any rate I think this would be my pick of the bunch. CW's bracelet is ...

Re: Mr. Jones collaboration

The arrangement with the birds looks very much like the kind of mystery dial that was popularised by a number of manufacturers in the 1950s and 60s. Nothing really new there. ... The mystery dial thing is what MJW does a lot of, so this watch really is a true collab with CW's movement/JJ04 and case...

Re: Mr. Jones collaboration

I love it and think it's cute. Plus it's a great size for me at 37mm.

But I don't love the price.

As a 36mm supporter, I'm happy to let the bigger-wristed have all the sapphire dial watches!

Like a few posters here, I have never found it appealing to see through the dial to see the top side of the movement.

@Stif

Thanks for the work you put into this app, and congrats on being mentioned in the Fratello video.

Can't want for the updates! I don't wear my moonphase that often, but when I do, having the day's moonphase so easily at hand will be awesome.

And yes, the Pro version is so worth it.
