Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
I love this every time it makes an appearance. That curve looks like it was made to measure :D Thanks. The past 2 years, I've had little opportunity to wear it, and I'm glad it's now back on the roster. And the curve definitely follows my wrist: Side view: https://i.imgur.com/5ngAE3Y.jpg https://im...

Think I'll cross post in the VWOTD thread as well. It's certainly old enough.

I do like these C60 Sapphire bezels - the smaller numerals and inner ring strip make the whole bezel look sleeker.

Re: Just had the call from my AD!!!
My friend is my dentist. He has a great voice, and he sometimes sings while doing my teeth. Then we spend some time afterwards chatting and catching up. My visits are pretty pleasant.

From before the merger with Synergies Horlogères SA, I recall "CWL" being used in this forum as an easy to type abbreviation for Christopher Ward London. It's just a shortcut.

... and this is why i threw the reworking of the trident in the same category as the mentality came from the same place IMO. what seemed crazy to me was to replace the old trident rather than just have the new sword hand ones as a separate new line, it's like Rolex completely replacing the Submarin...

Re: 2015 Forum Limited Edition Slimline - Should I Sell
I love mine, as it's great on different straps, and I really like the rose gold markers (roman numerals) and hour/min hands, plus blue seconds hand.
But then I'm fine with rostering the wear time of all my watches. Doesn't matter that I don't wear my FLE2015 all the time.

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
Radboud said seems they are just digging a deeper hole by not letting go of the CW brand name On the other hand, people do know the watches as Christopher Ward watches, and know what to expect from that brand (pricing, models, design, quality), so to completely change the name now will eliminate all...

Re: Logo only on some existing CW models.
I mean, if it was unwise (shortsighted?) in hindsight to choose Christopher Ward's name as the brand, then the same reasoning should apply to the names of the other founders, because you never know if one day they might want to pull out as well. But it's easy for us to look back and second guess wha...

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
The historic mistake is using Christopher Ward for the brand name.. While you’re entitled to your opinion, I very much disagree. To me, I have not a problem with letter length, syllable count and accent, nor even the left justified layout on the dial. The typeface isn’t great but nor is it horrible...
