Re: C63 bracelet revised?

I did email them after the Trident Pro 300 release, to ask if the 36mm Sealander would eventually get the single-screw bracelet. They said for orders placed before 1 Nov 2022, it would still be the 2-screw bracelet (I asked because the current CW voucher expires end Oct). There would be an eventual ...

The dial patination seems to have stabilised, so it has kept its marbled look instead of turning more brown.

Re: Non CW of the Day

Fitted the Solo37 on a dark brown strap I got a long time ago and just never got round to using. Not bad, makes it look more serious compared to the tan strap.

Re: Is the Sellita SW200 a good movement?

@asqwerth. Maybe it wasn't an internal watch problem,. Maybe the crown was just unscrewing from the stem. I did think of that, but my (albeit amateur) attempt to try to tighten the crown (either way) on the stem without actually turning the attached stem didn't work. I decided to post it to CW sinc...

CW made such cool variations on the aviator theme, and it's a pity they are all gone now.

Re: Is the Sellita SW200 a good movement?

Would the Powermatic 80 movement even be available for purchase by a non-Swatch outsider like CW?? If not, it seems silly to hit CW on the head with it. In any case, it's clear different forum members have had different experiences with ETA vs Sellita. Besides my experience with the modified ETA in ...

Re: Is the Sellita SW200 a good movement?

No issue with it. My first CW, the C5A Mk2, was a Sellita. Still working fine after 12 years, and I haven't had to send it for servicing yet.  Meanwhile I had to send my newer Bremont Solo (modified ETA, certified chronometer) for servicing because the crown winding became super rough ...

Re: New Trident 300 Bracelet is impossible to adjust

... A trip to the jeweler is $15 for a procedure you’ll do once in the lifetime of the watch. I think the point is that OP should not have to take it to the jeweller. On the other hand, it's clear that the solution is simply to contact CW about their mistake and send it back to get it fitted on the...

Re: I like a bit of colour in my watches

I really like how the outer track of dial markings curve up the rehaut. The purple shade is nice - reminds me of a vintage 70s watch.

Yes, agree with thomcat and you. "Colourway" irritates me.

Was the term in use as a description of that type of strap by others before his registration?

The Sh21 movement is large and the minimum size case it can fit into is 40mm.
