Re: C6 running backward
Send it to CWL and they'll replace the movement for reasonably small money. It's a lovely rare burnt orange Kingfisher so that's what I'd be doing. That's what I'd do too. A ronda 715 costs all of a tenner or so. I talked to CW, and they'll replace the movement for £35 plus shipping, so I will be m...

Re: C6 running backward
If someone wanted it, I guess so, but I'd be a little concerned doing so because it may just stop working altogether. I can't guarantee that it's going to continue doing that.yuri9206 wrote:Do you sell it? It's strange but at same direction is unique!

Re: C6 running backward
Well this is something that doesn't happen very often. I have not seen this myself, but have had it shown to me at past training sessions. The stator plate is the most likely culprit. Usually damaged by removing the battery incorrectly. The question..... is can you repair it yourself or are you now...

Re: C6 running backward
It started doing it as soon as I put the new battery in. Battery is same as previous one with positive side up, so I don't think that's the problem. I must have bent the stator is tempusmaximus' link suggests. I guess I'll have to look into replacing the movement.

Re: C6 running backward
Haha, that's the first thing I thought when I saw it. It appears to be running fine just in the wrong direction.footycrazy wrote:At least its hitting the markers
Sorry. Very strange indeed.

C6 running backward
I just changed the battery in my C6, and now the second hand is going in the opposite direction. I'm assuming I must have damaged something in the process. Any ideas how I might fix this?

Re: Vintage vs. New!
The Nomos is probably more versatile as an everyday watch, having better WR and sapphire crystal. The Orion is a modern classic imo. I voted Nomos. Of course, the JLC wins hands down. 8) I too prefer the WR and sapphire of new models, but I lead a pretty active life. Sent from my DROID RAZR using T...

Re: Fancy a GPS-enabled watch?
I have a G-Shock that is solar powered and adjusts the time to whatever zone I am in (I think it is most zones with a time signal) and it costs less that £100. I'm pretty sure though if yours is like mine you still have to tell it what time zone you are in. Imagine how much time you would save with...
Re: Kindle
My wife has a Nook Simple Touch which I believe uses the same screen technology as the Kindle, so I can offer a couple observations. I don't believe ghost text with a e-ink screen should be an issue. It's not like old computer screens where an image can be burned in there after awhile. If there is g...

That's always what I imagine myself doing when I think about getting a PVD. I just know I will run into something the first week I'm wearing it.mabotham wrote:I did get a minute dink in it on the bezel but that was from a hard knock so cant complain. Happened on second day of wearing it, too!

Actually, I used to not be getting them until about that time, and now I get them doubled every time.Kip wrote:Just curious guys......
For those of you that are not getting the emails....did they seem to stop last fall (Autumn) when the website was upgraded?
