Re: Watch strap repair

This part is called a keeper.

Replacement "keepers" are difficult to obtain and usually require a donor strap. There are generic keepers available, but they rarely fit well or match. A local dealer may have some to try.

Re: 40mm jumping hour watch

The jump hour format has been around for quite awhile. First released in Sept. 2011. The MKII was released in March 2013 followed by the MKIII in Aug. 2014. A 40mm variant of the MKII was also released in Feb. 2015. When the C9 case was discontinued, The Jump hour was transferred into the C1 Grand M...

Re: Logo at 9 o'clock poll

It's not just the placement - the whole thing seems a little egotistical - who really wants "Christopher" on their watch (other than Christopher Ward!), anymore that "Raymond" on a Raymond Weil is a great look - these aren't the sexiest names out there! And Christopher being so long in characters r...

Re: C65 Trident Diver- push in crown

^^^^Nice work. Remember I said definitive and not significant. If I have read your analysis correctly you are comparing waving one's arms in the air and/or underwater. My sense is that you would create more dynamic pressure in the air as opposed to underwater given the resistance/density factor. Wha...

Re: Damaged the crown

Contacting CW is your best course of action as that is the only place you will get an oem crown. Hopefully there is no internal damage and that is all that the crown/stem is all that needs to be replaced.

CW will give you an estimate prior to repair.

Re: C65 Trident Diver- push in crown

Their is a definitive difference between static and dynamic pressure. Watches atm ratings are measured as static pressure. there is continued arguments as to how much difference (static v dynamic) is generated in the act of swimming as opposed to just having the watch underwater at a static pressure...

Forum Survey Results

As many of you are aware, The Admin Team commissioned CW to send out a survey to our members so we (The Admin Team) could get a better idea of how we are doing and more importantly, what we can do to improve the Christopher Ward Forum for everyone. The survey went out in early December 2018, with th...
