Re: Unusual Service charge from 3rd party shop

It would seem that you received an estimate for an overhaul as opposed to a regulation. Perhaps the instructions were not clear or this service center will not regulate without a complete service, as many do. The Reverser wheels...who knows...perhaps another more local service center can advise. Not...

Re: Great move from CW

I see nothing wrong with getting a little PR mileage from a nice gesture. Here in the USA most every company that has donated or shifted production capabilities are getting recognition. The way I see it, yes all the front line medical personnel are heroes, but CW is asking for nominations which will...

Re: Coronavirus Weekly Check-In Thread - March 29

Agreed scooter. Not much changed on a personal level here. Supplies remain well in hand. We ventured out for some top off groceries prior to state shutdown and actually found things fairly normal. I have enough clock work for several months so am not bored. A bit worried for my daughter as the virus...

I don't understand why you wanted to do this, but if you like it, that is all that matters.

Re: C65 Trident Vintage Diver

Welcome to the forum. Please stop by the Member Introduction area and tell us a bit about yourself. As to your question...generally speaking all ETA movements, used by CW, are at least at "Elabore" level and Sellita movements are at least "Premium (Top)" level. The C65 Trident Diver you show has the...

Re: Coronavirus

Understandable for certain, but certainly not good for CW.

I watched his announcement and was not surprised.

Re: Coronavirus

I don't think I shall ever understand the panic buying/hoarding that many do. I do understand the self preservation instinct but it is not as though grocery stores and the essential services chains are going to shut down. Seriously...just because you have 50 boxes of spaghetti, 50 cans of beans, 100...

Re: Coronavirus Weekly Check-In Thread - March 21

Thank you Chris for starting this. All good here so far. New Hampshire is on the lower end of the curve, but since we are bordering Massachusetts which has a far heavier concentration of the virus, we are being very diligent. We have taken to cleaning out closets and attic areas with great success t...

An excellent reminder Chris.

My wife took care of our girls before worrying about us.

Re: Very early C3, important CW History.

Nice spot Ferg.

Note that the date is manufacture and not the sale date. It is likely that this was in the first or second batch of C3's that were built given that several variants were released in June of 2005.

A bit of polishing and someone may have a nice piece of CWL history.
