Re: Which is the most popular / desirable C70 ?

I really like the D-Type, I used to drive a Mini Cooper in the same colour blue with white "go faster" pin stripes. The mini has since moved on but this watch is a keeper  Yep - love the D-Type ... mines on a Bracelet ... but yet to see anyone admitting to owning a C70 US ! I have one, but...

Re: Automatic watch winder

You can find the turns per day requirements for all CW watches in the Archive Spreadsheet. Open and click on the TPD/Battery tab. Excellent info in that spreadsheet, but it doesn't appear to be entirely accurate: It states that the Grand Malvern Power Reserve winds in both directions. However, my G...

Re: Vintage Tag Quartz Service

Forget the movement cost unless going to an independent watchmaker. An AD will likely charge you for a complete overhaul.

Can't help on the price as I am a bit out of touch with current pricing, but I would guess an AD would charge about $200.00.

Re: CWE LE Trident

^^^^To be clear....

While it is true that anyone can commission a run of LE/bespoke watches from CW , no one can design one to represent this forum without going through the Admin Team. I will assume that this would be the same for the FBE group.

Re: Automatic watch winder

OK So, another foray into something new for me, I have two Tridents now and plan to get a winder for them. What specification does other members use and what sort of turn rate and frequency is ideal for the SW200/ ETA 2824 movements in them please,,,,, Many thanks good people. You can find the turn...

Re: CW Forum Survey

Thanks to all who have complected the survey so far. We really appreciate it.

Just curious if you are finding out about it from the forum or the received email?

We are hoping to get preliminary results by the January GTG and comprehensive results by end of January.
