It's a good opening question. I've always wondered why Roamer classified this 1960s (presumably) model a 'sport' watch. What is sporty about it?!

Re: Unboxing’ a TRIBUS 303
I really enjoyed reading your review of the watch, the history behind it and your family connection.
I wonder what the Ward brothers interest is as they've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it. Do they have some link historically perhaps?

Re: MiniMpi - February 2021
Thanks Gary, much appreciated mate. Again if I was really put up against the wall to pick just one then I'd also have to say the C65 SH21 LE. Just a superb watch. It's an amazing collection and I'm very pleased that you rank the C65 SH21 LE so highly - it really makes me appreciate mine all the mor...

Re: 11 years ago today was my first post!
I’m coming up for 10 years in a few months – it does seem a long time. Interestingly, I had exactly that C8 as my first CW. It was too big for me so I didn’t keep it for long. Congratulations – keep on posting! :D Thanks, I think at the time 44mm was the 'normal' size before cases started to get sm...

I'm not quite sure why I noticed this but today is when I made my first contribution to the forum having received a C8 as a Christmas present from my wife.... that was the day we later got engaged. IMG_6366.JPG We married less than a year later when I completely unexpectedly received this from her o...

Re: 180 degree about turn
Yep, I wanted the C65 Vintage from the moment I saw it. Loved the look of it and saved for 18 months to get it.... then sold it on after less than a year of owning it. Just didn't do it for me in the end.

Re: Watch Accuracy Meter - Timegrapher App
It worked surprisingly well for 2 of mine insofar as it showed fast/slow correctly...
... and did show what I already knew that my C65 SH21 LE runs 9 secs fast!!

Re: What would you change about your CW?
I've read that screw down crowns are more likely to transfer vibrations on to the movement and therefore push-pull crowns are better in some watches. I think it was in relation to testing done by Bremont on their Martin Baker range of watches. I prefer a screw down crown but it's not necessarily wit...

Re: How to take better wrist shots on a phone
^^^ Thank you. I learnt alot from the tutorial and now know that even my basic entry level Huawei phone has manual focal and light meter functions on the camera! That literally was something I found out from experimenting having read the link! Once I've played about a bit more I'll pop another pic o...
