Re: Fulfilling a Lifelong Ambition.......

Paul, your build diary made for an interesting read and it looks like you ended up with a great car - did you SVA it for the road or was it track only? I presume that it was an 1800cc VVC K series powered? Yours was a far more involved build than the one I am undertaking - how long did the build ta...

Just seen this post!
I built this a few years ago. Lots of track days, and loads of fun.

Instead it seemed BMW hated their baby and killed the Rex version which is no longer available in most all countries with the release of the car with a 120aH battery or about 40kw an...

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

Before I give my opinion, you need to know where I'm at in my car ownership journey. I'm car mad, and always have been. I used to modify my cars with bigger engines, stiffer suspension, bigger brakes etc. Then I joined the motor trade and for 15 years I had company cars. Those cars are now regarded ...

Re: Has SH21 evolved since launch?

I think that the seconds jump on setting is dependant on the movement being fully wound. ISTR that JJ wrote about this in his movement description.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: C60 Trident COSC or C60 Trident Bronze

A bronze watch will discolour (patinate). if you can't live with that, and are not going to keep shining it up, then it's not for you. In practice, how accurate do you need your watch to be? A COSC rated watch will have a better specified accuracy, but will that actually translate into a better user...

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride

A lot more scenic than my morning ride on the Turbo Trainer! We had folks to lunch, so I hopped on for an hour whilst the smoked gammon was cooking.
Hot and sweaty in the garage.

Great marketing idea. Use a multiplicity of devices and logos to confuse your customers, and suppress any build up of identification.

Re: repair info

Did you buy it new, or do you have the original paperwork that will show it is under warranty? If it is under warranty, then call CW in the UK (I know nothing about a US number for CW) and they will help you with the returns process for a warranty repair. Or just reply to the email, stating that you...
