Strong lady - well done. It sounds as if you're getting a good view of the light at the end of the tunnel, and you know how to eat an elephant!

Re: It's been a while (rambling thoughts and MTB content)

Brilliant stuff James and well done on the serious amount of weight loss I got serious about biking again about two years ago. Lost a bit of weight and then realised that I could upgrade the bike. I sold a couple of watches and described the cost of the Canyon as 2.5 watches! Now riding a lot more ...

Re: repair info

Hello thanks for the comment. Sorry I don't follow this site often. CW said that the watch has been subject to some kind of severe fall or impact that caused it to stop working. It had not. I told them fine keep the watch I don't want to throw good money after bad. They then said they would fix it ...

Re: It's been a while (rambling thoughts and MTB content)

Have you considered an e-bike? The extra assistance they give is amazing and it's definitely, definitely not cheating. The only downside is the starting price for a decent one seems to be about £1500. Yes I have, but as I've just had the upgrade, I'll keep on with the unassisted ones until I NEED t...

Re: Fulfilling a Lifelong Ambition.......

Paul, your build diary made for an interesting read and it looks like you ended up with a great car - did you SVA it for the road or was it track only? I presume that it was an 1800cc VVC K series powered? Yours was a far more involved build than the one I am undertaking - how long did the build ta...

Just seen this post!
I built this a few years ago. Lots of track days, and loads of fun.

Best of luck, and I hope you have as much fun with your kit car as I did with mine.

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

I did actually get the BMW i3 Rex (Range extender) a good technology that should be the stepping stone for electric. Instead it seemed BMW hated their baby and killed the Rex version which is no longer available in most all countries with the release of the car with a 120aH battery or about 40kw an...

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

Before I give my opinion, you need to know where I'm at in my car ownership journey. I'm car mad, and always have been. I used to modify my cars with bigger engines, stiffer suspension, bigger brakes etc. Then I joined the motor trade and for 15 years I had company cars. Those cars are now regarded ...

Re: Has SH21 evolved since launch?

I think that the seconds jump on setting is dependant on the movement being fully wound. ISTR that JJ wrote about this in his movement description.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
