Re: Balancing smartwatch and ‘watch watch’
I used to wear a fitbit thing on my other wrist a few years ago, but I eventually found it to be a PITA and stopped wearing it. I have no real desire to go back to it or something similar. However, there is a chap in work who has a similar view, but he wears a smart ring on one of his fingers, whic...

Re: C60 Sapphire - New Release
All the reviews I've read talk about the "blue" sapphire crystal dial. The article in the latest Loupe say it's a two piece dial - clear sapphire and blue plastic to give it the colour. A sandwich in effect. Was keen on this watch until I read that. I rather like this watch but it’s funny...

Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward
I’ve also been a relatively passive member of the Forum for a few years now. I still look in quite frequently but my life just has other priorities these days. This, however, deserves a comment! I’m sorry to see Chris go. I only spoke to him once and Wera not more than a handful of times back in the...

Re: Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell
Most folks likely won't care about this, but if their target market for these models is ex- or serving UK forces personnel then it's not surprising that they would spot the errors pretty damn quickly -- and it was never going to engender the intended marketing impact... (!). The replacement seems OK...

Re: Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell
Can't understand some of the stylistic choices for the Cranwell. Why the colours? Surely RAF Blue would more appropriate. Why the light brown/yellow (OK it was on the Jaeger, but still?) for the quarter marks and hands - and no iconic Aviation double dots on the hack triangle. Most important of all...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
C65 Trident Classic, gold / black face on gold bracelet on the train into London from Oakleigh Park this evening. Polished bezel / brushed case and polished centre links on the bracelet. Not a variant I’d ever seen before and not my personal al aesthetic preference but a nice watch nonetheless! Stil...

Yep, doesn't it just...?!
The 316 Blue looks fabulous on that strap -- almost better than the C65 LE!
Are they different enough to justify keeping both...?

Re: 316 Blue V C65 Trident LE Decision Time
i'm utterly biased here... I like the blue 316 (funnily, far more than the orange version) but it really does look like CW doing a knock-off of their own earlier LE. I own a C65 LE and it was the last offering from CW that immediately made me think "Oooooh! That's nice! Must have one of those!&...

Re: Blue on Blue - A new Trident
Looks very Scooter-ish (they must know how popular that was) and suspiciously similar to the C65 LE.
Still dislike the pointless sans serif text logo and the irritating 9 o'clock positioning. Nice -- but no thanks.

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"
Nice idea; less convinced about the execution. Falls soundly into the general category of "Oh. Is that it ...?!" Sorry, CW -- I really *want* to like it but despite the slim case and the technical stuff with the movement it's just TOO bland. It seems like soooooooooo long since CW produced...

Re: My new Bronze
I really do like the bronze case and bezel but the bland text logo and the empty space at 12 does nothing for me and doesn't encourage me to buy. My C65 LE has slowly become my go-to day-to-day watch and I'm increasingly aware that it's the watch i compare everything against before I even consider b...

Re: A Shocking Announcement
Wow, I've not been visiting for quite a while and I come back to this.... She will be missed, because not only was Wera great at sorting out many issues and fulfilling all sorts of requests, she contributed a warm personal touch and gave CWL a nice family feel. On the other hand, I think it...

Re: New c65 classic LE
Looking good on Stingray and Steel! Mine has become pretty much my go-to watch for most circumstances. I tried many different options and really do like the brown leather with the Bader deployant clasp but mine has lived on its plain brushed stainless bracelet ever since I fitted it. This is mostly ...
