That's a book I cannot afford to buy - I can do enough damage to my wallet on my own, thanks!

Re: Nearly New Sale
Just came in here to see if I was the only one that got burned on trusting the email link. Hopefully the W7 is still available.

Define 'inexpensive'
The Ball quoted retails for about $1700 I think. Oris makes a few that can be had for $1K-$1500 as well.
I'm wearing an Oris Artelier Complication today, day/date/moon phase/GMT, retails for around $1500 but can be found for much less.

That's probably the best thing. Imagine if you let yours go, then saw one in the flesh later and REALLY liked it?ctafield wrote:I will probably do as Chris says wait for it to arrive now and see what I think then

I'll post mine, then recap later (as I did with the 2008 list) to see how well I've done 8) - Stowa Flieger LE (#13/100) due in Feb/March - Panerai 183 (Radiomir Black Seal) whenever I can get it out of lay-away, probably Spring 2009 - Maybe a CW LE if one materializes, and I like the final result P...

Re: What is your 2008 watch-wishlist?
I just got my C6 T3 2 weeks ago, with an LE on order. My C3 is in for repair, and the C5 is on my wrist this morning :) This is more of a 'to-buy' list: - Guinand Regulator and the Model 11 w/bronze face (will order 1 this week) - Rolex Submariner w/Date (probably next year) - Stowa Antea Small Sec...

Re: Catalogues & Brochures
How about another couple for the list - Movado, and Corum? Colleague at work has one of each, and I don't like either. Infact the Corum (bubble) looks ridiculous, but to get a replacement strap cost him £130, so maybe they do make some nice watches? My fiance bought me 2 watches so far - both Corum...
