Re: Zenith Chronomaster Sport

Quite unusual to see the "Striking 10th" movement being used again. I suppose if you are using the watch to time laps (or something), it's potentially useful. Having owned an El Primero, Daytona and Speedmaster at various stages of my watch madness, my main observation is that the Zenith case was fa...

Re: gaf1958 - January 2021

Strewth. More watches than most AD's.

That's a lot of work, right there in this post.

I'd keep the Omega box and get rid of the rest. Job done. :D

Wow, that's a collection!

I think my favourite would be the Explorer, but there's plenty of lovely watches in there!

Re: C60 blue ltd edition or Oris Aquis

Im also loving the C65 Dartmouth, but the aluminium bezel is putting me off Can I ask why the aluminium bezel is putting you off? I have a few watches with both types of bezel (aluminium and ceramic) and I'd be hard pressed to say which I prefer. Longevity? My aluminium bezels get scratched to deat...

Re: CWL of the day

Great photo of a good looking watch! The blue of the C65 Tridents fascinates me because of how the shade of blue can look so different. I love how dark it looks in this photo, almost a navy blue. Yes, it’s one of those blues that’s very sensitive to light. This picture was taken in the same place, ...

I would think this watch was sold in 2017 - as an end of line sale watch, probably with a discount. As the certificate number matches the caseback it seems quite likely that CW used a standard caseback following a repair/refurb etc, which may have involved a movement swap. With the warranty certific...
