Re: CW Revival potential

There's always one, and that might be me this time, sorry. For me, no. The overall design, while fitting well into the timeframe it was originally released, feels too outmoded in comparison with current offerings. There is always a time and place for re-releasing a slightly-tweaked classic (Seiko of...

A lot of light polution here, but did see something. Interestingly the contrast picked up by the phone's digital camera was more vivid than I could see by eye.

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride

It’s not every day you can park under the shade of a 747. Just by sheer chance there was a McLaren meet with at least 20 parked up and a two-seater Spitfire taxiing a few feet away before heading out.

Re: A pop of colour...

I think I agree with that. I wonder if it consistently always fits well against the standard view of complementary colours which will be well known to most- complimentary-color-wheel.jpg The complementary colour scheme has been well used by CW in the past with some gloriously colourful dials- CHRIST...

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride

First ride this year of a reasonable distance. Out of the door before anyone else is up with the sun shining, dew still on the ground and before quiet country roads are plagued by peletons! Taking my time, getting back into the swing of things, concentrating on lines and vanishing points. Over the b...

Re: A pop of colour...

This one would have been a disaster if pops had been added IMG_3159.jpeg I don't know... If we appreciate the pops of colour becuase they introduce little elements of contrast which catch the eye and complement the overall effect, then perhaps an otherwise dull and foggy grey day can be elevated wi...

Re: Timegraphers

Sometimes the positional difference can be wildly different Is this because of gravity making different components hang differently? And if so do you expect very expensive movements to have less variation? Also, do different complications lead to wider positional variation? Sorry so many questions ...

Re: Timegraphers

Quick heads-up about adjusting in multiple positions if you do invest in a timegrapher. There are six positions that one can test (positive and negative in each of the three dimensions) and it's possibly going to be a bit different in each. Sometimes the positional difference can be wildly different...

Still a good looking watch though and the one that introduced me to Christopher Ward.
Ditto! The C60 600 mk2 with ceramic bezel and the first on-the-fly microadjust was the gateway drug that dragged me (less kicking and screaming and more wide-eyed and willing) into CW and the wider watch world.
