Ah, I knew I had seen that liquid filled KingFisher somewhere before just didn't realize 28800bph was the brain behind that. Great stuff! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

He's also made his own machine to test the water resistance of watches at various pressures.

That is one pretty fine looking winder. As all I can make with pride is a cup of tea I am extremely impressed by someone that can do this. Well done.

Simply stunning. A triumph of form and function combined.

Congratulations on a true masterpiece.

I know it's already been asked but, when are you going into production?

I want one but not to wind my watches. Can they be made to, err, do other things?

Seriously impressive stuff Jeremy. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable post.

I'm assuming that you are so clever that you don't have time for normal things and thus wander around in a pair of pajamas, some big hairy slippers and five pairs of spectacles balance on your huge noggin.

Bravo indeed. I picked up on the odd word like 'and','if' & 'watch' but i'm afraid the rest went over my head. 8)

I love reading 28800bph's post when he's been at a new project! What great piece of engineering and design, and attention to detail. I wouldn't know where to start on such a thing yet it is all made to seem so normal andobvious.

Brilliant!

There are no words... At least there are few that have not already been used... Great stuff!

Do you accept commissions? I have this idea about my wife and a remote control with a mute button...

Meh, where's the teleporter you promised us?!

Seriously though I am in awe, as ever. :god:

The way you describe a project is fascinating, and it's so modestly done. Each re-read brings new moments of awe. "Oh yeah, then I made my own circuit board" or "I designed a laser cut look for the case". So matter-of-fact!

This thing looks amazing and is absolutely stunning. Form and function. Impressive stuff, and more than a few companies could learn from it. Thank you for sharing.

I was half tempted to start my post with a snarky, tongue-in-cheek comment, but I just couldn't muster it. Thank goodness, Mortis was able to man up!
