Automatic Alarm

Post by robert_ford »

Hi. Would any of you like CW to consider producing a automatic alarm watch like the wonderful Jaeger LeCoultre memovox?

Not a bad idea but not sure what price a complication like that might be.

I know, might be difficult to keep the price down, but if anyone can CW can! :D

Unless CWL comes up with their own movement these may be cost prohibitive to acquire.

I like the idea though.

Thanks for your interest. I do feel that a classic version of the 1950 memovox would be nice to see.

I don't suppose CW could source those vintage AS 5008 movements;

...or if one didn't mind manual winds then how about using the Russian 2612 movement;

No expertise from me, just the power of Google. 8)

those movements are pretty affordable... thus, it enables us to hope that a mechanical alarm-watch by CWL is possible...

I add my vote for this idea ! I'm dreaming of getting a vulcain, one day, but if CWL offers the same, in an affordable range, there will be no need for a vulcain anymore.
