Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
The sunray dial on this is much more subtle than on other watches I’ve owned. It takes some bright sun to bring it out.

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks- another great looking Oris
Looking at the Oris ‘front page’ and they have a strong diverse lineup IMO. Divers well covered and well loved by Aquis and Divers65, very sharp bunch of pilots (ProPilot - including the Kermit now of course), almost unique and definitely iconic Big Crown Pointer Date, Rectangulars just to increase the diversity, and a great skeleton in amongst their dress watches.
(Am I sounding like an Oris fan girl?? )

Re: Non CW of the Day
Something I've been seeking out for a long time.
Not many for sale anymore, so was delighted to get this at a very reasonable price.
Came with bracelet as well, although I haven't got around to re-sizing it.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Yes thanks Neil, haven’t worn it every day but did yesterday to watch the marathon and also today out for a bike ride, via a customary coffee stop!
Still loving it.

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Re: Non CW of the Day
I spent this last weekend on the coast of Maine, opening up 'Talisman' for the summer (my home of 12 years), visiting friends and taking photos of watches.
Apologies for a blurry Interstellar (my watch), but the weekend has been mostly backgrounds...
