Thanks for the compliment! The dial is more porcelain. I’ve always admired Speedmasters from afar but they never made my purchase list. This one came up unexpectedly this week at a very fair price and I just fell in love!Greatpotfarm wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 8:56 pmBeautiful! Some Omegas are starting to impress me tremendously! Is the dial porcelain or nacre?

Re: Non CW of the Day
Trying out the Erika that was on my BB58 with the Sarb017. The Alpinist has been on an Uncle Seiko President style bracelet for a couple of years. Whilst it looked good, it wasn’t as comfortable as other watches worn on a bracelet, meaning I didn’t end up wearing the watch very often.
Hopefully the switch to an Erika will correct that oversight. Neil

My black Mappin for the last few days, on an excellent Fluco cordovan strap, but with a very good watchgecko Edwyn clasp.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Experiment today is to determine what I really think about 36mm watches. I think they’re too small for my tastes. Maybe I should run a poll
