C63 SH21 Snow Leopard

Post by Kielbasa Posse »

Just saw this while browsing the CW website, is this a brand new release? I couldn’t find anything on here about it other than some talks of it. It looks amazing!

That’s beautiful! The textured dial is incredible.

Here’s a link.

There’s also a Blue Marine version, but I don’t find it as impressive.

There's also the C63 SH21 Blue Marine.

$2,110 USD on bracelet.

“The snow leopard is an iconic predator. But it’s in danger of extinction. That’s why we’re donating five percent of the sales of the C63 SH21 Snow Leopard to David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) as it seeks to preserve the leopard’s habitat in Asia. And that’s just part of the watch’s appeal: because it’s powered by our in-house Calibre SH21, your C63 SH21 Snow Leopard will deliver COSC-certified timekeeping with a remarkable five-day power reserve. All of which can be observed from the ‘Sealander’ dial, subtly imprinted with a pattern inspired by the leopard’s coat. Limited to just 150 pieces.”

I’m split on it. Obviously I see what they’re doing with the snow leopard motif, and think it’s very cool, but I don’t know if I can see myself wearing a leopard print watch.

I love the Snow Leopard one. I’d prefer a plain which dial, but the texture wouldn’t put me off. However, as I’ve the FLE arriving at some point, I can’t see me buying this. (Mind you, I’ve said that about new releases before……)

These are both lovely releases and they've really matured their design processes now... 41mm, 13mm thick and those dials are beautiful 8)

Tempting as these are, I'm happy with my recent C1 Aero 8 and will wait to see what magic they can perform with the new SH21 v2 releases later this year

Congratulations to CW on two amazing new releases, and a fitting end to the SH21 v1
C1 - Bel Canto, Grand Malvern 5 Day
C5 - FLE
C60 - Concept
C65 - Cranwell, Super Compressor
C9 - 5 Day Small Seconds
Omega - Aqua Terra, SMP Nekton
Breitling - SuperOcean
Rolex - Air King
