Sorry, but you can’t go directly from Dale to Westernesse on a Sunday in February without being in Nidd. That’s only permissible in the Eärendil’s Razor variant which, as you know, can only be played if there is no R in the month. My move…Khazad-Dûm!
But there is never an R in the month   If there isn't there jolly well ought to be a different rule - O Elbereth! Gilthoniel if you like for months which have more than one R. By my beard!!!!

I suppose one can’t expect the mods to take action to get this thread back on track (pun intended) when it’s a mod who pushed it so far off track!
I know some members find going off track a problem but I enjoy the ride, it’s like being with a few mates....the conversations you have take on a life of their own.....that’s the enjoyment....you have no idea where it will end

Osgiliath, I should think, thereby avoiding Minas Morgul at rush hour. The Nazgûl can be unpredictable.

Nice. Apart from my Beatles map, I also have framed/signed posters of “The Godfather” and “Where Eagles Dare”

They look great in my study with all my Jack Daniels collection and my large stack of Beatles books.

My brother dabbled in collectable items for a while, and he gave my son a framed signed script of one of the Harry Potter films, a Johnny Depp signed Pirates of the Caribbean DVD, and some WWE stuff.
