2023 Six Nations

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

All ready for kickoff again!

Ireland and France seem to be the two top rated teams and, frankly, I can’t see anyone else beating them.

England, Wales and Scotland for the mid table positions again? Though how they shake out is anyone’s guess.

It was good that Italy finally won a game last year after so long, and even better that it was Wales.

Maybe they can achieve a double whammy against Wales and Scotland this season? That would be nice. :D

England have been poor for a while now, but I hope Borthwick can salvage a couple of half decent results. Who knows?

Looking forward as ever to the 6 Nations.

Can’t argue with your observations, Steve. Especially Italy, love to see them win more.

A bit miffed today’s Calcutta Cup game overlaps the NUFC vs West Ham fixture.

Fingers crossed for an England/Toon double!

Erm, no it wouldn’t! I am quite confident we can beat Italy at Murrayfield.

Not so confident for the Calcutta Cup match later, England surely cannot be as bad as the mediocrity they displayed under Eddie Jones in the past few 6 Nations.

Throughly enjoyed the Wales v Ireland opener. Now settling down to watch England v Scotland with an ‘enthusiastic pub crowd’ and a pint or two of this….

Interesting afternoon. Scotland can finish…very well, England can’t defend or turn pressure and possession into points. Wales shouldn’t really fear either of them, they did well against Ireland but were outgunned early on. Wooden spoon avoidance time next week. Not too disappointed as I wasn’t expecting much from England. Looking forward to France v Ireland next week.

Disappointed with England but the excellent ale made up for it.

Obviously enjoyed the final result but it was a real ding dong battle and a great sporting spectacle.

If you want to support your team through your watch, Breitling has produced 6 Nations LEs, limited to 150 of each watch.

https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/partner ... x-nations/

This version, with Hamish Watson as the chosen brand ambassador would be my choice of course. I quite like the Scotland version, 42mm Chronomat, £7,200 though

That would be a watch to have! I'd have the England one though, these really are quality watches. Don't think my bank manager would let me have it though
