And one Super Compressor became two yesterday. My black sand has been leather-clad since it arrived when new.

Previous owner Iain had this blue version on a bright blue wave strap but I fancy it'll be on the bracelet for a while.

tikkathree wrote: Thu Sep 22, 2022 5:26 pm That's a pity and I'm sorry you aren't totally smitten by it. I'd tried it on a couple of webbing zulus and a couple of coloured leather straps but ultimately my Anthropocene is my established favourite white non C60.
It’s just me and white dial watches. I was hoping the gun metal hands would have more contrast than silver ones. They do, but I still struggled to read the watch in the morning. I’ve moved others on for this reason before.

I wore it on a Bremont blue and grey nato yesterday and it looked great. I’ve a few other straps to experiment with but I’ll see show I go. I can definitely live with it on a strap to provide a little colour, all other white watches I’ve owned have had a coloured bezel or a bright seconds hand and I can brighten this no problem and be perfectly happy.

The contrast with the hands might be the nail in the coffin though and that’s nobody’s fault but my eyes.

On a blue Hirsch heavy calf water proof leather strap. Definitely better with a bit of colour.

I do like the heavy calf strap Iain. It has a lovely padded profile.

A little fun with a macro lens. I need a tripod, better lighting, and practice with close focus I think.

I love them. I took an initial plunge and went right back for a second. They’re costly, but well worth it IMO. So many great color choices make me wish I was rich so I could buy them all
