Tortilla de patatas…I haven’t made this for ages!

Good Spanish tortilla is good! The challenge is find good tortilla though. I’ve had a lot of bad. Looks delicious, Steve. My coworker, who’s Spanish, makes great tortilla. And speaking of Spanish, I just happened to have great tapas this afternoon.
My dinner? Two pieces of cold Dominos pizza, some Doritos, some cold slices of roast beef, all washed down with Kir Royals! It makes no sense.
It's 7:10am here so breakfast is on the cards but coffee first. Breakfast? Maybe some vanilla soya yoghurt with sliced mango, chopped banana, crumbled walnuts, pumpkin seeds and almonds, and not for an hour or so.
Time to get to work...
Does melancholy count as two of your five daily servings?

Time is the key. Most people try to do it too quickly. I soften the potatoes (prefer new) by boiling for a few minutes, then cook slowly in the pan with garlic and onion and good olive oil. Only when all is soft and the onions are nicely browned do I pour the eggs over.
A great one tonight. Marks and Spencer best ever Bistro Fish and Chips, including minted mushy peas and scratchings. Had good reviews, but this is the first time we've seen it in stock.
It was really good. I can heartily endorse the on line reviews. Even better, we got it as part of a meal deal.
^^^ I remember you mentioning Staffordshire oatcakes in another thread. I hadn’t realised there was a difference, but as you say the Derbyshire ones are thicker. Mr Google also tells me they are generally larger, with a slightly different mix.
^^^^^ With a side order of flambé smartwatch by the look of it.....
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.
