Three Sealanders

Post by ROF68 »

Three of my Sealanders...

The white has been my go-to daily driver for a while now, and I really like it. The green is unusual for me -- the only green watch in my collection -- but I've found that I actually like it more than I might have expected. I actually haven't worn the Highlander yet, so can't comment on what I think of it on the wrist -- not sure why, honestly, but kind of haven't gotten around to it. I think I like it, but I'm not entirely sure. Same with the Atoll, strangely (not pictured here, obviously, but in my watch drawer). Sometimes I guess I need to "build up" to actually trying out the new watches I've just gotten. Anyway, enjoy the pic, everyone, and hope you are all well!

No way could I be in possession of that Highlander and NOT be wearing it! I’d have it on one wrist and the Atoll on the other.

Lovely collection. When will we get a SOTC from you?

Thanks! I'll try to put that together before too long. What's the protocol? A list? Photo of everything?

What a trio! Nice vibrant blue on the Highlander. I always put a new watch right on, and wear it for days on end once it comes in. I can’t imagine what I’d do if I got 2 new watches at once!

Coincidentally, I will soon also have a Sealander trio in these same colors. Although the blue will be 36mm. Covers all the bases!

The Sealander's are such a great watch to own, I have a white, green and although not a Sealander, a Cholchester, enough watches for any occasion. I would love to see the 36mm in the flesh but I'm cautious about the 60 day return.

Why cautious about the 60 day return?

Some years ago I tried to return a watch (a jump hour) I had worn for about 2 hours and I couldn't really tell the time with it (bad eyes) and they said if it had been worn at all they would only offer me about two thirds of the price. So since then I have been cautious of the policy.
