JKPA’s European Adventure – Summer ‘22. Watch of choice: C63 Sealander White. The One, The Only. Let’s #GODO everything!
Re: JKPA’s European Adventure – Summer ‘22. Watch of choice: C63 Sealander White. The One, The Only. Let’s #GODO everyth
I have a habit of acquiring straps for watches ... and then leave them on the bracelet .... Speedmaster being a prime example.
This one looks great on the oak leather but the bracelet is king ...
I did the same thing with my C65 pepsi and plain GMYs
The leather smells so good though !!

Haha you’re right. I do the same thing. Once I have a bracelet, that usually wins.

Same. I bought a beautiful tan leather strap with a Bader clasp for my C65 Trident Vintage. There was universal agreement that the watch looks fantastic on it and that it’s the perfect compliment to the watch…because it is!
And yet, as I look at my wrist, here’s my watch on the bracelet. Now granted, I switched back on purpose for the summer so as not to ruin the leather with sweat, but I’ll be curious to see what happens in the fall.
As for the C63, especially the white, it definitely can claim the title of top CW strap monster. Leather, NATO, bracelet - it looks great on ALL.

I’ve got to be honest, it’s that hint of jacket sleeve that grabbed my attention!

I've been going the other way round. Previously preferred watches on bracelets but now switching out the bracelet for a decent strap.

A few more straps came in.
Now we should be pretty well set. CW black leather, CW Vintage Oak leather, Barton Orange, Blue, and Green silicone, and of course the great bracelet.

France….<sigh>…. So jealous.
We were supposed to go to France last summer for our 5th anniversary. Then we put it off to this summer, but come winter we got panicky with delta making the rounds, plus with my father-in-law being so ill. Again, no France.
We’re going next summer, regardless of the crisis-de-jour!
For now, I’ll live vicariously through your posts, so be sure to share lots of pics.

Please stop posting lovely pics of that C63 white dial, especially ones with the straps saucily arranged around it.

Looking good there but man with the summer temperatures we are enjoying (hands up those who actually enjoy this hot weather or maybe it's just me ) a tweed jacket is the last thing on my mind. Thinking back to days of work it would be suit and tie on, jacket on the hook in the car, drive to work, grab the jacket, carry it into the office and leave it on a hanger all day and then reverse the process to come home.
Summertime bracelets every time, especially with a quick adjust clasp.

Yes, he draws quite a crowd doesn't he? And just along the road from Loch Fyne fish restaurant and Brown's restaurant both of whom provide good food.

If you're ever filling time say in an airport lounge, would you be kind enough to upload some photos to the reference gallery?

The Sealander is in. Just TWO days door/door across the Atlantic. The CW/DHL Combo works its magic yet again.
It's a beauty indeed and it's new friend, the Cream dial, is a perfect match of course. A quick swap to bracelet and it shows how amazing it is. 39mm of sports watch perfection! (Cameo pics throughout of the Creamlander).
