That's the one I was thinking of. Very nice.

Not only is it nice but unless I'm mistaken it's also a grand complication
watch for less than 500 quid!

Actually, after looking through the ML collection, I was thinking of this one. £2900. :?

Certainly a talking piece! Not my cup of tea but very different indeed. Have you seen the monochrome Phase De Lune, slightly more conservative but would be one of my choices in the "Money is no object" category! 8)

I didn't want to revive a dead thread, but looks like this was used in the last month :)

I'm going to be buying a Ball watch in the next few weeks, and I think the Moonphase is at the top of my list. I haven't been able to find any really great pictures of it, but this is the one... http://www.thetimezone.com/Ball/NM1082C-SAJ-BK.html#

I like the simple look, and the best part is, the moon has tubes under it, so it glows at night as well.

Ya, I don't know anyone personally, just people on forums. Fortunately there are a couple ADs in the area, and I'm going to look at the watches this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Everything I consider tasteful in a watch is in that JLC; it's superb. If anyone wishes to post it to me, my birthday is in October... UB
