18/19 : Christopher Ward C7 Rapide "Prototype"

At the end of March I was lucky enough to be able to take part in the rare sale for one-offs and prototypes. To do this, you had to register in the CWE forum and then got password-protected access to the temporarily switched CW website.

My eye immediately fell on the C7 Rapide. I was particularly impressed by the two-tone housing in black and red.

This prototype has the serial number 000/100 - from which you can see that this model was only produced 100 times in the end.

Unfortunately, the original black/red leather strap was no longer available. That's why I had a corresponding bracelet made at bocane.com. I find the combination really more than successful.

In any case, it has now piqued my interest ;-)
The Elite is very much a one off prototype............

I also really like the wasp. I'm just wondering if your collection consists only of one-off watches :D

C60 Ombre Black with handmade, cross-stitched, distressed leather strap. I’ve got a couple more leather straps to try it on, pics to follow.
Keep well,

We’ll see. It’s Saturday! We’re spending two days in town ahead of time so we don’t feel rushed on the big day.

Final: 19/19 Christopher Ward C7 Rapide Chronograph Automatic

Since the beginning of April 22, this beautiful chronograph has been the provisional conclusion to my CW collection.

As a supplement to the previously shown C7 Rapide Prototype, the chronograph completes the C7 series for me. With the serial number 003, it is one of the first examples built.

Launched in August 2017, this model is part of the complete re-launch of the C7 Rapide Motorsport family. Features include a new 4-piece case, bicompax dial and the introduction of the "Twin Flag" logo at 3 o'clock. This model is one of the first CW's to omit the name "Christopher Ward" from the dial.

This concludes the presentation of my CW collection for the time being. How it goes on? In any case, nothing is in prospect at the moment - but who knows today what tomorrow will bring ;-)

In the coming week I will start presenting my CITIZEN collection in alphabetical order. My followers can look forward to it - or maybe not :-)
