(I imagine that mf is going to be quite gutted at the general lukewarm reception this release has received as he clearly thought (as did everyone at cw towers) that this was a real biggy 'nicest watch we have ever made' kind of a moment.
He’s going to spout that selling guff bs with every release, it’s his job too. They, the same as any manufacturer have to believe in their product and put it out there. Not every release is going to be a hit, look at code 11:59

But! I have always coveted the Blancpain and it is one of my grails (if that can be said in plural!). For the first time for a CW I can't see past the Aquitaine as anything other than a homage to the FF and that is why, in the inimitable words of Duncan Ballantyne, I'm oot!
Duncan Bannatyne to be precise :)
Of course.

MF said it's their best watch to date. It's an inferior product imo when compared to the Super Compressor, my favourite CW

Good

Could have been excellent if they had included a black/grey variant. To produce an all green and even a bronze and not a black at launch seems a bit odd. This is forgetting the logo choice for a moment, otherwise the word would be undecided.
