Steve MacDonald wearing a Rolex Submariner?
Steve MacDonald wearing a Rolex Submariner?
At the risk of admitting to watching Corrie, last night, I thought Steve MacDonald was wearing either a submariner or a a trident?

Now if Ronald MacDonald had a sub[way], that would be something.

Didn't notice, what's your excuse for watching it, my girlfriend makes me, not allowed to refer to her as "me Doris" anymore either.

We kissed and made up once my girlfriend realized how important the football on Saturday was, an I said promised to stop putting footy and mates before her. oh and do more stuff that she likes, like watching Corriescooter wrote:I thought Doris dumped you.......by text.lamppo_the_GasFitter wrote:Didn't notice, what's your excuse for watching it, my girlfriend makes me, not allowed to refer to her as "me Doris" anymore either.

Lamppo, I'm glad for you and the not calling her "me Doris" and doing more stuff she likes is a great idea but...
What the hell were you thinking? This will never work!

This thread has been properly hijacked! Ben- this is what happens on this forum and is its most endearing quality.
No problem admitting to watching Corrie (or Coronation Street, to the plebes) as it is one of our greatest exports, it would appear. A couple I met in Amsterdam, who were from Canada, asked us what was happening in the series here as they are about a year behind and admitted to being completely hooked. Mention of Eastenders, on the other hand, elicited a laugh and the question 'Come on, its too depressing!' I watch it with my partner once or twice a week and find it quite enjoyable, in a kitsch way.
Haven't noticed what watch Steve wears and will have a closer look next time. He has always come across as a bit of a 'grey' man, lacking in taste and style and hence I couldn't believe the producers would let him wear anything nearly as classy as a Trident. Could be a Sub... you never know.

I think I have found it! There is a review of it lurking on TZ-UK. The picture below is taken from that site.
