Quick release bracelet woes.
I’ve just tried to put the bracelet back onto my C65 Chrono and one of the quick release pegs has dropped out of a spring bar.
Has anyone had any success with Supergluing one back in? I’d need to purchase some first but don’t want to be wasting my time if it’s just going to drop back out.

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
Steve IIRC it happened to one of Fergs.
He contacted CW and was sent a replacement end link.

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
Hi Steve,
This happened on my C65 Cranwell earlier this year...
CW sorted it quickly by sending replacement shoulder ends and all has been fine ever since
See my thread for full details, including how to fit the replacement shoulder ends when they arrive.

Good luck

Thanks Gary. I’ve fired off an email to CW. Hopefully, all will be sorted.JasperCat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 9:15 pm Hi Steve,

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
I’ve had the little pin drop out of a mk3 c60 and also had one bend and almost snap off on a 22mm c65 bracelet. Both times I reached out to CW CS and they’ve sorted very promptly

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
I think there are some slicker QR bracelet mechanisms. I don't find the spring bar tags that easy to use, but still a lot easier than pliers.
I like the central single pushers, I don't know whether they are all patented/copyrighted though, which may be the problem. I doubt it's possible to copyright a "tag" on spring bar, but the central push button releases may be protected.
I wonder if there is a similar issue with adjustable clasps. Is the glidelock a rolex patent do you think?

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
If CW eventually stop supporting these QR bracelets I think I’ll just replace with a regular spring bar. From what I can see these should be compatible.

Re: Quick release bracelet woes.
Update: Having emailed Vallen at CW, I have now received not one but two new bracelet shoulders for my C65 Chrono, free of charge. I was given the option to send the bracelet in for repair or be sent the spares, to do it myself. All in all, a great outcome. Once again, excellent service from Vallen.
I’ve enjoyed a summer of wearing the Chrono on my tropic but am really looking forward to getting it back on steel.

It's a tricky thing to design isn't it? You have to put a fair amount of pressure on the levers.
