CW launches competition on Facebook to win a pair of tickets to join them at WatchPro Salon (https://live.watchpro.com/salon/) on Saturday 13th November in London.


Here is more info on the event and how to enter:

When: Saturday 13th November

Time: 09:30 – 18:00

Where: The Londoner Hotel, Leicester Square

How to enter: Email events@christopherward.co.uk with your name, email address, phone number, and name of the guest you’d like to bring.

Winners will be contacted on Monday 8th November

Well that was an eye opener. Have to say the majority just looked to me “cheap” perhaps because that end of the market copies them, although I doubt they are. Interesting U Boat with a sort of goldfish glass but on the same stand some crowns which would not look out of place on a Storm. Schofield was individual and the owner was giving a talk about Design and engineering.
Had a nice chat with a technician on the CW stand who was dismantling a Concept. The future might be a lower depth rating to make something similar thinner. Also they are may get more technicians to help with service times and cost. Reading an article in the mag I picked up it said there is a shortage and there might be an exodus to smaller manufacturers.

^^^ You make it sound as though I would have preferred an afternoon at Twickenham. Actually, having spent Saturday afternoons at both Twickenham and Salon QP in the past, I reckon I would. :lol:
