Thanks Ferg and Guy
The watch is in fantastic condition :D , strap is used but still in great condition, minor scratch to the clasp (which will almost certainly polish out).
The only thing to have suffered over the years is the red interior of the original box - but that's tucked away out of sight anyway.
Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:10 pm Looking at it carefully, it seems to be styled with more in kind with the C40 Speedhawk, than the C70 GP Series.
Just a thought. :-k :-k
That's an interesting observation :-k
Just had a look at the Speedhawk https://cwarchive.knack.com/cwarchive/# ... e73f231e0/ and I would conclude that it's probably based on the colour scheme.
At a glance, you can pick up on it being part of the C70 series from the large 12 (at 12) and the sub dial arrangement.

It was mostly the black / white / red / steel colourway, especially the white chapter ring and steel sub-dial rings, that caught my eye.

The Monaco is definitely one of the most distinctive looking C70's, a bit more wearable and understated than some of the more colourful models.

Thanks for everyone's comments and appreciation
Apart from the excellent condition, I find it very well executed with its dial, hands and colourways.
It's also very legible for a chronograph :D

Great pickup sir, its an interesting watch and I have one too but mine is definitely a bit more 'worn' than your fantastic specimen 👍
One thing to be aware of is that the bezel is VERY susceptible to wear/scratches. Tried to get a replacement but CW has no stock.
Enjoy in good health, just ready for the start of the motorsport season 🙂

Again thanks for everyone's comments
I changed the strap over a moment ago to another C70 strap that I had in my box
...very pleased with the result :D
