distance between lugs?

Post by labenge »

Can anyone tell me the distance from lug to lug on the malvern or the malvern aviator?

I have a small wrist and tried on a jazzmaster today - too big, really. So, I was wondering if the malvern might be a better choice being 2mm less in diameter. but I think distance from lug to lug is an important measure for me - I just can't find it listed on the CW website.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
(and if anyone has tried the jazzmaster, how similar in size is the malvern?)

Didn't you say it's 2mm smaller?

From end to end my Malvern measures approx. 45mm.

Yes the lug holes are probably about 42 or 43 mm apart and the the total length looks to be 45mm or a hairs breadth more. I think one of the nice things about the Malvern is that it sits very well on the wrist. It is one of those watches that doesn't move around very much for some reason.

The Malvern tends to look a little larger on than I expected and I think it is partly because the dial blends in a bit with the bezel in some lighting. It's quite a subtle watch in that its appearance changes with the light.

cheers,
