A minor indication of some normalcy

Post by jkbarnes »

I was finally back in the building teaching this week...still virtually for the majority of my students. But at least it was from the front of a classroom!

It’s nice to have my desk at home back to normal.

A lovely desk and a great improvement, though I did like the little travel alarm - added a touch of Golden Age charm.

Ahh, good catch! I need to move that alarm clock back to the desk.

I love little travel clocks! I have this beautiful little JLC (shown to scale with a 33mm watch).

I have always imagined it on the bedside table of my 1st Class cabin on a P&O liner travelling down through Suez to Aden and Bombay.

There was a thread on Travel Alarms last summer. It had two posts - yours and mine. Popular little things, apparently not.

Groundhog Day.
