The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Agreed Paul. A great looking watch.
I previously tried on the A384 and liked it a lot. I think this one is even better, particularly on the bracelet.
Good size too.
Please feel free to buy one at some stage. Probably easy enough to move one after a while, providing you know someone else who likes iconic chronographs and is keen on this one.

Well, bu**er me! I’d just jumped on here to paste a pic of this one after just reading reviews of it and you’ve beaten me too it! Great minds
Our lass never bothers about what I buy but, 2 Zeniths in 2 weeks and she might start bothering!

Feel like I've missed the boat with these

^^^^ Another cracker using that case Paul.
Still think my favourite of all of the reissues is the A385.

Saturday evening, after a drink, is not the time to make a rash purchase.
My man maths says overall it may save me money.
Neil
But rash enough to contact the boutique and ask if they will sell me a bracelet to add to a preowned watch, that was bought on the strap. My man maths says overall it may save me money.

I’ve been looking at that all day, and even considered posting it here...nbg wrote:Saturday evening, after a drink, is not the time to make a rash purchase. But rash enough to contact the boutique and ask if they will sell me a bracelet to add to a preowned watch, that was bought on the strap.

I convinced myself it’s not my thing, but I reckon it could be.
Bit of a bargain too!

Re: The
On the bracelet, which is a boutique only combination, it is a watch that I picked out about a year ago as a buy that and I am done watch. I know it fits as I have tried on a different dial colour when they were released. 50m WR is also ok.downer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 10:36 pmI’ve been looking at that all day, and even considered posting it here...nbg wrote:Saturday evening, after a drink, is not the time to make a rash purchase.

Noticed it’s now OHPF, Neil. Did you get it?

Re: The
As usual Richard - he who hesitates is lost. So no.
I couldn’t get an answer about the bracelet from the VC boutique on chat yesterday late afternoon and wasn’t interested without being able to have a bracelet.
I didn’t want to mess the seller around by saying “yes please” only to subsequently find out that the boutique wouldn’t sell the bracelet separately. In that situation I would have still felt obliged to buy and ended up with a watch that I didn’t wear as much as I would if it had a bracelet, so more difficult to justify.

Re: The
It's always tricky when there's a dependency, and as we know, well-priced watches don't hang around - even in these strange times. Probably worthwhile following through with your question to the boutique though, as there's a decent chance the watch will appear again in the not too distant.nbg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 3:22 pmAs usual Richard - he who hesitates is lost. By the way, I shudder to think what a bracelet might have cost...

I must say, I thought that VC looked really elegant on the strap. It would match very well with a blue or black alligator, or a CW cordovan (for the QR facility). No doubt not an inexpensive acquisition though, and it needs to be right for you.nbg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 3:22 pm'
