^^^ Thanks Paul, I am keeping well. Will give some more thought to the 556 as instructed! :D

Keep hunting and accept no substitutes Lindsey. There is definitely a white dial 556 (Japan LE I think), although fairly rare.

Imagine the buzz when one finally lands at your front door though

^^^ I accepted a substitute!! Don't think I'd have the patience to hold on for a 556 LE......
The substitute is an Elliot Brown Kimmeridge, and I'm very happy with the choice

Amazing Lindsey. Top notch purchase.

I thought of the EB Kimmeridge for you earlier today, but didn't get the opportunity to post the suggestion at the time.

Its a great watch and should suit you. My girlfriend has one and her wrist is similarly as small as yours (maybe smaller) and she now wears it pretty much everyday (on a NATO).

Photo from a holiday we took in September up on the Northumberland coast, which I posted at the time in the non-CW of the day thread;-

Looking forward to pics when yours arrives. :D :D

Thought it might meet with your approval Guy!
Thanks for the pic.
It should be here next week, so will post a pic when it arrives.
I have to say i\m really excited - I've passed this watch by several times because it's quartz, but this time I see no reason to pass it by. It's what I was looking for - a tough, bracelet, white dial watch with good WR and a good reputation.
Yay!

Terrific purchase Lindsay and looks like it ticked all the boxes

As an aside, I recently bought a Canford (Quartz), my first EB, and I'm very pleased with it.

Good day fellow asylum members, sorry my holiday wishes are a few days late, but better late than never. It has been several months since my last post, but I just wanted to pop in and wish all of you the very best for the up coming year. I was truly distressed to learn of the latest outbreak on your side of the pond and hope you are all finding ways to stay well both physically and mentally. Back in March when all of this started, I "bought the dip" in the markets, and have been spending most of the time I might have been posting here, trying to make sense of the stock market, which I have enjoyed. Guess you might say it has become my latest infatuation. Not replacing my love for watches but just taking a break, as most of us do from time to time, with a new past time. As soon as I reach my goal I may very well use some of my gains for another grail, LOL. Lindsey, It is nice to see you back on the forum. As I recall, you had decided to take a short break from the forum to concentrate on your health. I hope seeing you posting again means that you are doing better. I will close for now, praying 2021 has better things in store for us all. Stay well all.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

^^^ Thanks so much for the good wishes - my health is in a better way than it was six months ago. Much has improved this past six months in fact!
