Trident c60 pro mk3 Bezel

Post by matt_98125 »

Just curious, has anyone removed the bezel on a trident c60 pro mk3. I'd be curious on the mechanics of it. Is it a standard click spring system?

If anyone has experience with, or knows how it works, it would be interesting to hear.

Thanks

Having listened to Mike France, at the CW Event/GTGs last year, explain how they researched and then experimented to get the right feel and sounds for the Mk3 Trident Bezel action, I believe the mechanism is far from being a standard click spring.

What the mechanism is has not been divulged by CW.

I may be completely wrong of course and no, I haven't dismantled one.

Interesting. It is a bit of a mystery. I've heard it was not conventional but a combination of a compression and position springs.

I just wonder what one would do if they wanted to do general cleaning or adjusting under the bezel.
